This product is very strong and easy to install. I can loosen the bolts and reposition it pretty easily and it's much safer than attaching my equipment the wooden joists. The company's customer service is also top tier. I contacted them via email and they responded and solved my issue within 24 hours.

During home renovations I tore down a load bearing wall and installed an I-beam to replace it. I painted the I-beam black and left it exposed - it looks sharp with our modern interior design. I've now added the Firstlaw Fitness clamp and it is rock solid. I even added some felt pads so as to hold the metal part of the clamp off of the I-beam. That way if I move it it won't leave marks where it used to be. I am using it to secure my TRX system and couldn't be happier. This clamp looks sharp and is extremely well made. Even with the felt pads this thing has not budged a millimeter, but do be sure to clamp it down tight if you opt to use pads. If you are going to leave it in place or don't care about leaving marks on the I-beam skip the felt pads. I highly recommend it!

This was super easy to install. Needed a place on my I beam to put new heavy bag and new pulley system (in the works of doing a DIY system to pull some weights). This thing was solid and tough. Feel very comfortable doing dynamic exercises on this thing. Shipped quick as well. Would buy another if the wife says ok....

Great purchase! First off, your notice from my pictures the pull-up bar . I have a separate review for that product . If you look in the center of the pull-up bar you’ll see the clamp . I’ve already attached my TRX system. Product is extremely well-made very sturdy clean steel finish. I’m 6’1” 198lbs and this doesn’t budge. Will be buying another one for a heavy bag .

The most difficult part of this installation was climbing onto a ladder to get to the 10-foot high beam in our garage. It will be easier if you have two people, one on each side of the beam, to tighten the screws but one person could do it, one side at a time. We hung my son's 100 pound punching bag from the hook using extra links and a soft-loop tie-down strap to get the bag low enough to the garage floor. This set-up is so much more efficient than hanging the bag from a stand which took up 4 times more floor space in our garage. And I have peace of mind knowing the bag is securely hanging from the beam. I would highly recommend and would buy another if I had two heavy punching bags.

The provided D-Ring is not case hardened!! This wore through, and my kid fell to the floor. Luckily it was only a few feet and nothing was broken. Unfortunately it also wore down the mounting hole. I will need to find a replacement for that soon as there's less than half an inch until its worn through!

This I-Beam clamp is rock solid. Setup is simple. It costs a little more than some of the cheaper clamps, but it is three times heavier and will last forever. You get what you pay more with this thing. My son loves it.

This is a bit more complicated to install than some you might be considering but it's worth the effort. Over three years of semi-regular use (and occasional abuse) it's taken on all we can throw at it. And when one of the components showed a little too much wear ... wait for it ... they wouldn't let me buy a replacement part. They sent it to me no questions asked. I tried to pay for it. THEY WOULD NOT TAKE MY MONEY. It's a solid product. More important, they stand behind it. And if you have need to contact customer service, ask for a guy named Jeff.

This i-beam mount is very well built in my opinion, and it's very sturdy. It was easy to install and it's a super precise fit on the i-beam. I would definitely recommend this product!
