Agave derived inulin, for those wondering.
KOS Inulin is a wonderful prebiotic! I actually add it to my yogurt, milk kefir, coconut milk kefir...to help support the cultures. Studies have indicated the shelf life is extended when inulin is added during the fermentation stage. Giving a 1 STAR initially because the ingredient label simply says 'organic inulin powder', rather than the source of the inulin. Is it Jerusalem root, chicory, banana, etc? No where on the label is it disclosed. It is not on their website either. Inulin just does not grow. I won't be using the product until an answer is received. It was asked in Q&A a month ago - no response from KOS. Edited 3/19/19 to 4 STARS: CS advises inulin source is agave. Rating only a 4 due to the fact this info is not disclosed. I am using 7gm daily in my protein shake. It dissolves easily, no weird taste. My microbiome was already quite well adjusted, but inulin is a fabulous prebiotic. I will likely keep this in rotation with a chicory based inulin. Keep up the great work KOS.

100 Percent as Advertised
KOS Organic Inulin Powder is exactly what I was looking for. I've purchased many similar products in the past that tasted terrible, were expensive and I just had to throw them out. KOS Organic Inulin Powder is essentially tasteless. This allows me to mix it into any food without changing the flavor of that food. I started out mixing only a quarter teaspoonful in plain water, then doubled that after a week. I'm still not up to a full scoop that they supply, but I sprinkle it into many of the dishes I make. Using this method, I never had any digestive issues. I love that it's Organic and I haven't had any trouble with it clumping. Also, I'm diabetic, so I love that all the carbohydrate is fiber, not adding to my net carb count. KOS Organic Inulin Powder in the USA and it will be the first fiber product that I will make repeat purchases. I couldn't be happier with this type of product. Yes, I recommend this product.

No inulin Source Listed Updated Review
Review Update: While I am grateful for the company's offer of refund, I much prefer that they correct their labeling. How they are able to offer a product one ingests without the ingredient source baffles me. Doesn't FDA regulation require this. Simply saying ingredients: inulin means little opening the buyer to possible allergic reactions. Luckily I did not experience any but buyers must know what they are purchasing. Still, the product is a good one. Dissolves easily, no aftertaste. I continue to use it until finished so for this reason decline their refund offer. Going forward I plan to purchase another properly labeled brand. KOS seems a good company. Their Superfood Plant Protein is excellent.
