I purchased these speakers for my son this past Christmas, 2014. We all thought is was really cool until we tried to use it.First of all we couldn't figure out how to connect the two speakers to each other as the manual described, come to find out we have two MAIN speakers in our box so they cannot ever connect (I can only imagine what the person with two second speakers in their box have to say) . So we decided that two people in our home will have one speaker each and it should be ok. After fully charging the speaker for half a day, we began to play music (it hooks to the bluetooth on our phones/ipods extremely easy - that is why the 1 star plus the fact I cannot select none) and after 10 minutes of music playing we get a busy signal every 15-30 seconds which apparently means the speaker needs to be charged because then it shuts off and won't work. So we charge it for a day - SAME THING! To top it all off, the main reason we bought this thing was for the water/light entertainment and like all reviewers said you have to play your music loud in order for it to vibrate hard enough to make the water jump. Playing your music loud on this speaker comes across distorted so you need to decide, do you want to see the water jump with colors or do you want to hear horrible distorted music? We tried many different songs to figure out what would trigger the water to jump and it turns out to be the volume. Great idea, but this product needs to be dumped and recreated!

I bought these for my son for Christmas 2015 from f.y.e. The good is they are fun to watch and nice style with decent sound water keeps good beat with the music. The bad = Speakers never would charge. When unplugged they come on for a few seconds then beep and turn off the only way he can use them is plugged into the wall and each other. The cord between the 2 speakers is about 6-8 inches long so they always have to be right next to each other. I am disappointed with this purchase and have not been able to find any way to contact the manufacturer.

Picked these up from FYE last night without researching other products. I can tell you I've learned my lesson on that. I'm half tempted to return them to FYE and get good ones on here.The 'low battery' signal is very erratic and these will still shut down on you even if they're plugged into the wall. Spend your money on a pair that actually work.
