The paper weight is nice - not see-through and ink does not bleed through. The magnet is strong. The pad holds up nicely when hung vertically, does not slump or tear like some I have had. Love that the grocery list is perorated and can be removed separately from the menu. I bought the coordinating calendar and weekly task list. They look nice on my refrigerator. I will buy this again!

I need all the help I can get with remembering things and staying organized. I've tried other list pads, and I keep coming back to this one. It's big enough to hold all the notes and not so big that it hogs the fridge. I can plan ahead and keep track of what we need in one place. Having the meals planned for the week means I can see when I cooked that leftover chicken. Everyone at home knows if they want me to get something in the next round of shopping, it had better be on the list! The paper is sturdy enough to hold up against being scrunched in my purse. Then, for the digital lovers, we can just take a photo of it before we head out, or send it to the person who's going to stop on the way. This works for us. And it's pretty, too. Why should it be boring?

This meal planner and grocery list all in one really has made meal planning and getting everything for the meals so much easier the only thing it can't do is cook the meals for me! Plenty of sheets in the pad and the pad is well made not falling apart like some things I've bought the only thing that could make it better (other than if it really could cook the meals) would be if the entire back was a magnet Rather than 2 strips as it sometimes slides down the fridge a little when you're using it

Let's face it. Family meal planning is not a job for the faint-of-heart. From choosing the meals, figuring out your shopping list, braving the supermarket (probably with kids in tow!), loading and unloading the groceries a couple of times, and organizing the pantry -- it ain't easy! Anything you can use to help yourself organize this endeavor is worth it -- and for me, this notepad is it! I used to post meals for the week on a whiteboard on the fridge, after growing weary of hearing, "Mom, what's for dinner?" all the time. (Hmmm….come to think of it, they still kept asking me that question, despite the menu being posted for all to see. Clearly, my "what's for dinner" board was about as useful as my "Please don’t put dirty dishes in the sink!" sign. -- I should post pictures of all the dirty dishes stacked neatly NEXT to the sink.) I digress. The truth is, the posted “meal plan” is really for me. And if I’m being honest, my meal plans RARELY go according to plan. Sometimes I need to switch dinners around, sometimes the family gets leftovers/cereal/whatever-they-can-find, and sometimes we end up eating out. Still, it helps my week feel less crazy when I have a plan, even if I don't always stick to the plan. So, why do I love THIS “Meal Planner Pad” in particular? Because it's clever, and it's a simple design devoid of pineapples or llamas. (No offense to pineapple and llama fans!) The sturdy magnetic backing allows you to slap it onto the side of the fridge. The notepad itself is a good size with plenty of room to write meals and side dishes for each day of the week. You can brainstorm and jot down the meals you plan to make, along with the necessary ingredients, all on the same page. The “shopping list” side of the notepad easily tears off when you’re ready to hit the local Stop & Shop. Lastly, you can save the old weekly meal plans for future reference when you’re completely out of ideas! Bottom line: it’s simple, functional, and helps you get a handle on meals for the week!

Lets face it, we've all done that one shop where you spend £50 on groceries, get home and realize there isn't a single meal to make amongst all the ingredients! I like to plan, I like to know what I am eating when, and how long its going to take to make. I have used many of these types of planners in the past. This one has a really good magnetic strip meaning it can be stored firmly on the fridge without falling off. It is a good size so you could fit several meals into each box if you wanted to plan an entire weeks meals and not just dinner. I also like that the shopping list half is perforated meaning you can tear it off and take it with you without messing up the half that has your meals on. Very good design and once it is used up I see no reason why I wont repurchase the same one.
