More cliff notes for most items than detailed instructions but if you go through the few through examples then apply it to the notes for your camera it is good. New version is probably well worth it. I plan to pick it up as well.

In fact very useful. Other reviewers have said it all. But it must be stressed this is not an idiot's guide. This book assumes some skill and prior knowledge. Rather cunningly some of this knowledge is contained in other books by this author.
