Lone Wolf Padded Back Pack Straps

Simple, comfortable, durable, quite.

Bought these to try to stabilize my old Summit Viper climber when packing in. Does the job, but not much padding in the straps.

Straps that come with the Lone Wolf stand are sufficient and plenty good enough for hiking in short distances, which I usually do not. I have to carry my stand in to get to where the big boys are - I do not have some guy feed me a big breakfast then drop me off in a 4 wheel all terrain vehicle - I do not harvest bucks less than 3 YO, and do not have the luxury of passing up a buck that's 3 1/2 YO. I hunt highly pressured deer that do not grow old. I gotta hike, sometimes a mile or more to get to deer havens I hunt only 2 or three x a year. These padded straps give my old achy shoulders enough relief to hike long distances without cutting the blood flow to my shoulders off.

The padded part of these straps are about twice as wide and much softer than the ones that come with the lone wolf stands. I think they are a double ply neoprene material. The portion that attaches to the stand itself is about half as wide as the straps that came with the stand and the buckles are much smaller to fit them.I yet to actually use these back pack straps. My first impression is that they won't be able to hold as much weight and are not as durable as the ones that come with the stand. But, they do seem more comfortable due to the fact that they're wider and softer. I'm hoping they're both durable and more comfortable. Time will tell...Also note that the straps I received are not the camo pattern pictured. They are black with Lone Wolf lettering printed on them. I would have prefered them in camo as advertised/implied by the picture.

They do the job. With 4 sticks, stand, and a long hike the padded straps still can uncomfortable.

I wish the straps came with a snap buckle system so you could loosen and tighten straps easier

Okay I know this is a review for the back pack straps, but I have to start out saying I bought these for my Lone Wolf sit and climb. I love that tree stand it is so lite and you can set in it all day. I could go on about the stand, but the straps They are just okay would get the job done, but not in comfort.
