Men's Blazer Jacket - Classic Fit Sport Coat, Stretch Sport Jacket for Business, Weddings & Daily Wear

After years of buying jackets my husband seldom wore for lack of enough occasions, plus his expanding belly, the blazers were always donated to a resale shop. He is now in an organization for which he needs to have a blazer and expects to wear it more frequently for his position in this group. I did not want to spend a lot of money AGAIN on something that would be donated after a few uses as in the past. I found this one on Amazon and took a chance, and guessed at a size. It arrived quickly, in a plastic bag and it's own hanger! It wasn't wrinkled and upon inspection, I was extremely pleased at the quality of the jacket for the price! The material used is durable and well done. The lining is also very nice and coordinated tastefully. It looks like it cost a lot more! The blazer fit well except for my hubs wasn't able to button it (by a tiny fraction) so I had to return it and order the next size up. It arrived in the same condition and fits with enough room for him to be very comfortable (and if his belly expands even more). It just needs an inch or less shortening of the sleeves to fit him the best. The return was wonderful! Brought it back to Kohls who shipped it back the same day and I even got a discount coupon to use within the week at their store! The refund was also prompt by way of an Amazon gift card, which was rather handy too. I am extremely pleased with this purchase and should the hubs (or son) need slacks or anything suit related, this will be where I look first!

SUPER DEAL!I was looking for a dark-brown blazer. They are very hard to find! Most suits are a shade of blue, black or gray. Lighting on this jacket will greatly affect the color. I wanted dark-brown (like Hershey's chocolate) but this is ever-so-slightly red, like dark mahogany wood. But it's close-enough to the dark brown I wanted.Up close, the jacket has a textured or tic appearance. The buttons definitely make this jacket a BLAZER.DISCLAIMER: I own many suits, blazers and sport coats -well over 20! and many of them are expensive designer brands from men's stores. I also own some “bargain” suits. FACT: All suits are not created equal! Those "that know" can tell a cheap-polyester suit from a mile away! This is not a formal wool or wool-blend jacket. BUT, it is a quality jacket at a VERY GOOD PRICE!VIRTUAL WORLD: In this pandemic, I'm in daily virtual meetings. So I really just needed a jacket (without the matching pants -LOL). Another reason why this is such a good deal -you can't tell the quality difference in a Teams or Zoom meeting anyway!FUNNY: I got such a laugh at the two different names on the packaging of this jacket. Is it "Pierre Loren" OR "Pierre Laurant" ? LOL!MATERIAL: Mostly Polyester, with Viscose and Spandex. But it does not "shine." It looks nice.PACKAGING: I was impressed with the packaging. However, it was folded up so tightly, I don't know how long it will take to get all of the wrinkles out!SIZING: Pretty true. It may run slightly larger than some brands. I purchased a 46S. With some brands I would need a 48, but I was still able to button my jacket with this 46!PRICE: I happened to purchase a size that was on sale! YAY! The price on this size was significantly lower than the other sizes. For this reason (the very low price) I think it is AN AWESOME VALUE! I feel the normal asking price, however, is simply fair.

Definitley a solid buy if you are looking for a black sport jacket or blazer, but should not be marketed as a suit separate. The fabric is that of a sport jacket or blazer, and the picture shown, all the way down to the buttons is incorrect. I understand that may be a hard detail to photograph. Actual appearance is a black to almost gray (explains the confusing "black/blue" that appears way down in the details). The buttons that I received are that of a sport jacket / blazer, not suit buttons, which I had to replace with black buttons at a tailor. Looking over the fit section, some comments were that its a little small, I ordered a size up and the fit is dead on with the rest of my normal size suits. I appreciate that they sent a perfectly contrasting silk tie with mine, that was unexpected and generous! For the money its hard to beat!

This blazer was of higher quality design and materials than I had been expecting - especially for the price. I purchased the olive color to go with a pair of taupe dress slacks that I'd recently gotten, and I've decided that I will definitely be buying the same blazer in navy blue from P&L to go with some other casual pants of mine (especially the grey and khaki colored slacks that I own). It came very nicely packaged on a hanger, and there was no wrinkling of the material to speak of after removing it out of the shipping box.This is the first product review I've ever written in the four years that I've been shopping on Amazon, which should tell you how pleased I am with the blazer.

I am 6' tall and weigh 175 lb. I tried on three different brands of jackets in size 42R in a local department store. They all fit perfect so I ordered this jacket in a 42R. It was too big so I ordered another one in 40R. It fits perfect. The quality of this jacket is much better than I expected. The people present when I tried it on were very impressed. The return of the jacket that was too big was extremely easy and my money was refunded promptly. I would certainly buy this jacket again.
