We used this map on a recent trip out west and the coating was just perfect. The map held up well to lots of opening and folding, and could easily be used on a future trip.

Great to keep in the car for random road trips

So I bought this to hopefully take hiking but it’s pretty small which is great for being compact but not for detail. I’ll keep it in my car tho. It is great to look at to show nearby national parks or wilderness areas. Might be great to plan several hikes along the way

It was a map, it's up-to-date and I have a stash of maps because I think that it's important to have choices other than your GPS because electronics fail sometimes

This is a great map, very durable, and waterproof-- which is extremely important in the PNW. But this map falls just short of being perfect by NOT including basic maps of Seattle, Portland, and Boise on the flip side of the map. This would have made so much sense since these are the biggest cities in the region. Oh well, I'll get separate maps for those places.
