Loved how easy it is to use. It makes laying out the dovetails fast and accurate. Great price and quality!

It is a lot smaller than I was expecting, was wanting one to cut dovetails for a neck joint on an acoustic guitar.

This was fairly well made. It would be a bit better though if the black metal part was slightly thicker though to safeguard it against being accidentally bent. Otherwise it looks like the tolerances are good.

I find this tool very easy to use and well made. I can make dovetails without this tool, but I find the precision to be unbeatable. The construction is well worth to money spent. This is not a toy, a real tool for real woodworkers. You will not be disappointed.

This is a lovely and nifty little tool for laying out accurate dovetail joints. It allows scribing of dovetails at four ratios: 1:5 and 1:6 for softwood, and 1:8 and 1:10 for hardwood. Very solidly made from CNC machined aluminum. My only complaint about the product is that the instructions are vague with respect to which faces of the guide are where. Once you “get it,” things are fine. The “external” faces are 1:5 for softwood and 1:8 for hardwood, and the “interior” faces are 1:6 for softwood and 1:10 for hardwood. I have found that the exterior faces are a bit easier to use.

Been doing dovetails for more then 30 years. Bought this to replace my sliding T-bevel. Very nice quality and really well made.
