One Trick Pony, but it's an impressive trick
There's no doubt that this bad boy is bright with an amazing throw, but Olight has made a series of bad design decisions that severely reduce this flashlight's usability.PROS:- Will illuminate the neighboring town.CONS:- Ergonomics: The tail switch is recessed and difficult to press and maintain a secure grip at the same time.- The difference between "soft press" (300 lumens) and "full press" (2000 lumens) is not distinct enough. Very often a half-press attempt will result in a full press and vice versa. Trying to turn off the 300 lumen beam with a soft press often results in a 2000 lumen beam.- User Interface: My favorite flashlights all have user interfaces that make them easy and intuitive to navigate between the different beam settings. Olight tried to make an easy user interface on the Warrior X by having only three beam settings, but they probably couldn't have made it worse, partly because of their decision to have 2 modes (for only 3 beam settings).- User Interface: In addition to the issues I've already mentioned, the only way to get to the strobe setting is to change modes by depressing the tail switch while simultaneously loosening and then tightening the tail cap ......that is, of course, unless you're in mode 2, but then you have to perform the same contortions to get to the 300 lumen setting in mode one. (It had to have been a competitor that talked them into this UI.) ¯\_(ツ)_/¯- Gimmicky?: Most of the tail switch problems arise because of Olight's decision to have magnetic charging. While this is convenient, it causes more problems than it solves. Not only does it make the switch difficult and inconsistent in operation, but if you don't have the special magnetic charging cable, you're SOL. I much prefer flashlights that have micro USB charging ports because no matter where you are, you probably have access to a micro USB cable.- This complaint is picky, but if you use the flashlight without the tactical ring, there is a gap with an exposed o-ring where the tactical ring would be. I don't think it will affect the water resistance. The knurling is not aggressive enough. In any type of self-defense situation, I would not be confident that this thing wouldn't slip out of my hand (or that I would activate the intended beam setting).- The most obvious design flaw is that there are only three output settings: 2000 lumens, 300 lumens, and strobe. Now most of us can live without SOS and beacon modes, but the lack of a couple lower settings makes this flashlight a one-trick pony...But it's a pretty impressive trick!

Olight does a great job on styling on this Warrior X!
Your browser does not support HTML5 video. This is a very nice complete kit. It comes with a battery, clip, holster, USB magnetic charging and manual. Please see my full review of this light and its feature including night shots. Super simple to operate as well. As always super fast Amazon shipping will get this to you quick.

Brighter than any surefire gunmounted flashlight in white light.
If your wanting the brightest flashlight at this size, look no further this thing is badas$. It will live up to all the hype. There is a smaller flashlight they make thats 2500 lumens but its more of a floodlightand gets hot quickly. The warrior x is like a spotlight. It does get a lil hot after being on a long period of time but cools down quickly and its never to hot to handle. The battery is pretty close to the time they have as far as lasting but stats are probably a little padded or was in a controlled environment. I got all the accessories to be able to use as a gunlight. The magnetic tail switch and gun rail adapter and im running it on a rifle. Its perfect as a gunlight. I really believe this company is going to sneakup on mega companies like sure fire.. They are already selling brighter flashlights at better prices.

Order this flashlight now! You won't be disappointed!
Outstanding tactical flashlight.Quality of manufacturing is top notch.Looks like a million bucks.Feels solid in your hand.I love the new magnetic USB charger.Unbelievably bright. The reflection off of your hand is enough to momentarily blind you. This will cut through dark tint at night for car stops so you can see who's in the back seat.I'm a flashlight fanatic and own many high end brands. So far I love it and it has become my new favorite light.Highly recommended!A++

Another Olight
As always, Olight hits one out of the park. I've purchased multiple flashlights from this brand and they've all been great products. The Warrior X is unique in that unlike their EDC range of flashlights, this one is specialized to be in a more "tactical" environment. This means it's best used as either an attachment for a long gun, or as a patrol light. My use for this falls into the latter, and that's exclusively why I purchased this light. While not meant to be a weapon, this light's 2000 lumen brightness is a very effective way to disorient and stun someone who has become hostile. In a lot of situations, that disorientation can change the course of your life. Every little bit helps. The beam itself is floody enough to be usable in every day situations, but has a very focused hotspot in the center that reaches waaaay out.The build quality is superb as always. This flashlight is built like a tank. There are youtube videos showing people bashing this light against a tree, running it over, throwing it off of a bridge, etc. It's a tank. This also means that the aggressively crenelated bezel is going to be extremely effective in defensive scenarios. Keep in mind, I am not advocating violence of any kind, but for use as a defensive tool, this bezel is going to definitely make a point. As with many of the Olights made in recent years, the Warrior X comes with their signature magnetic charging, which is absolutely outstanding. I've got a few of the charging cables laying around so it's pretty convenient to just put the tip near the flashlight and it clicks into place. The unique thing with this light, as well as the Olight M2R is that the magnetic base is also a metal tail switch. This button feels MUCH different than the rubber buttons you find on most lights. One of my favorite lights is the Nitecore MT10A which has a very nice rubber tail switch which is pretty easily activated. The metal tail switch on the Warrior X will take some getting used to, but it's a very distinct and nice feeling once you get used to it. It doesn't have a lot of travel, and feels more like a cross between a computer keyboard's keys and a camera's shutter button.Speaking of camera shutter button, the tail click is operated similar to that. There is a half press and a full press on this tail switch, and it feels almost exactly like a camera shutter button. The mode I currently have my Warrior X set to is the "tactical" mode that gives me a momentary steady 2000 lumen beam when I half press, and a momentary strobe when I press it fully. Again, both of these are MOMENTARY beams. Once you release the tail switch, the light cuts out. This is the "tactical" mode. The other mode is more of an EDC mode in my opinion, and gives you a medium brightness with a half press, and a full 2000 lumen brightness with a full press. In this mode, you have an option of momentary or steady on. I keep mine in the "tactical" setting for defensive purposes.Again, in my opinion, Olight's made a superb light. It's a great patrol light and along with my other tools, it does its job well. If you are looking for something a little less "tactical" and more EDC or versatile then I'd suggest going with the Olight S2R Baton II. It doesn't have a tail switch, but is a very bright 1150 lumen flashlight with a bit more of a wide flood beam and retains Olight's excellent magnetic charging capability.

OUTSTANDING!!!!! 10/10
This is an extremely well made product. The qualities of it are in every inch of it.1) For simple defense alone the size is like a " roll of nickels in your fist" with an extremely safe but hammer of gorge crenelated flashlight head. It is the right size for less large hands and solid as rock2) It is amazing bright and well beamed (still waiting to do all the long range tests in the field, but compared to many I have, it has the chops to be bright enough for long range searches.3) Adaptable; from the open bottom, lense down holster and under straps that it has (as well as the slim stretchy side pocket that can fit the usb charger), to the extra rubber on aluminum back grip that is interchangeable. It was quality packed (and well sealed vacuum packed for dust etc) and good enough for a gift to those you care for :)I own and have bought many, many Olight brands for friends and family over many years. This is safety AND smart :)

Perfect work light
Super bright thrower. Soft press for low mode is perfect and brighter than most lights but not too intense. Hard press for turbo is too intense for close to medium range and is better for long distance spotting. Battery life is good, but the magnetic charger makes it easy to keep the battery topped up. I keep the charger plugged into my vehicle and top up the battery while I'm driving. Light indicator makes it easy to find in the vehicle at night. Good size, durable, good fit and finish. Other 18650 batteries work in the light, but not with the charger. Very happy with this purchase.

Awesome search light.
As expected with a flashlight at this price point, the design and execution are top notch. Everything about this flashlight screams quality. This flashlight has a more tactical feel and a tight search beam pattern. It’s a great addition to my collection. It has crazy range, over 1/2 km, Wow! Even though it has a nice tight spot to shine far, it also produces a impressive amount of flood light around it to not only spot in the distance but also shine usable light around it. Entirely unlike zoomable flashlights that when in spot mode offer no flood light at all to illuminate anything around the center spot. One pleasant surprise was the nice belt case it came with, I could not see in the product images that it had a hole at both ends, one to let the end of the flashlight protrude to gain access to the power button and one at the other side the size of the lens to let you turn it on in the belt clip and use it hands free. I really like this. It’s a horizontal clip so the flashlight points forward when in the case and also has a stretchy side pocked to put a spare battery if you get one.If you’re shopping for a high end tactical flashlight that has very long range the Olight Warrior X should definitely be on your list.EDIT: After using the flashlight for a while now, I find the vibrating low battery warning user friendly and perfectly useful.I was showing off the flashlight in overcast misty weather one evening and I shun it upwards, there was a clear column of light going all the way up to a clear circular spot in the clouds, it made me wish I had a small bat cutout to stick on the lens because I'm sure I could have called batman! I'm blown away by the range and quality of this flashlight. On the negative side, as is true with all high end flashlights, you can only get that Turbo/Boost 2000Lumen output when the battery is close to fully charged, when the capacity reduces, it will max out at the 600 lumen setting. That is still very usable, but I find myself wishing you could get 2000 Lumen all the time.

Not as bright as claimed
The "throw" is actually closer to 200 meters, about a block. It does light up street signs a lot farther away but then so does any Cree T6, $30 light. It can easily be seen from 560 meters away but so can a cigarette lighter on a dark night. I live near a rail overpass and from the overpass this light will light up the front of the rail cars 10 or 11 cars away. Past that you can't tell it is on. That's not 560 meters unless rail cars have gotten a lot longer recently.
