One of increasing range of good alcohol free drinks.
Good taste, trying to remember which alcohol rich drink it reminds me of, but has been a while since I've had a real alcoholic drink.

Expensive Syrup
So disappointing. Purchased this for my hubby who loves whiskey and with his birthday approaching thought it might be a nice treat but without the disadvantages of alcohol. "Alcohol Free Whiskey - Award Winning! 🥃 All the same ingrediants as whiskey but not fermented 🥃 Delicious drink which contains many of the characteristics often found in whiskey 🥃 Drink it pure, on the rocks, or with a mixer." (spelling mistake from copy & paste of product details) " Whissin is made from the same ingredients as whiskey (barley, rye, wheat) but these are not fermented." The product description gives the impression this has been developed with some thought. The ingredients listed on the bottle make it clear this is just water and sugar with flavourings and colourings (all bad). Just a very expensive syrup.

Good
Purchased for grandad with dementia who forgets how many he’s had and not drinking enough normal fluids. He keeps topping up so must taste like whiskey, and it’s done what we wanted it to do. My issue is that it is £19 if you can wait a week for delivery, but I paid £25 for this to arrive in time for christmas. Why do I pay for Prime if you’re adding £6 delivery on Amazon? Noticing this more and more, which is why I’m using Amazon less and less.

Definitely smells like whiskey - great for whiskey-based cocktails
Wow! I was pleasantly surprised! Whiskey was my go-to when I used to drink. Now that I don't drink, I was always wary of these alternatives to whiskey as people say they are nothing like the real thing. As soon as I opened the bottle, the smell of whiskey hit my nose and it was uncanny. I honestly couldn't beleive how close it smells to the real thing. But then there's the taste, which is...different. It tastes kinda odd neat - very sweet but smooth, but if you let it sit in your mouth for a while, that barky, woody, earthy taste of whiskey comes through. I mixed it with some ginger ale and I have to say that it has more than satisfied my quench for a whiskey kind of drink this holiday season. I would highly recommend to those who want a whiskey substitute that would be perfect for whiskey-based cocktails. Neat? Maybe not. I'm glad I bought 2 bottles and would happily buy more.

Packaging & Checking prior to despatch
The product arrived with the bottle top not correctly installed, the seal was broken & most of the "fluid" was in the bag & box. I applied for a return, but Amazon refused. Unable to contact Amazon to talk to anyone. Othjerwise, this is not a whisky substitute, no flavour very "thin" etc. Expensive for less than half a bottle

Not Great
In all fairness to the product they've tried, however as a person who has enjoyed whiskey for many years this is not a worthwhile substitute; but at least I have tried it. The many 0% lagers and in particular Guinness zero are super alternatives thank goodness, but Whiskey Zero is not for me.

Gutes Getränk - schlechte Bewertungen z.T. wegen falscher Erwartung

Lo he tirado

Don't waste your money
I find it very hard to believe that any bourbon lover would rate this crap more than a single star. No resemblance to whiskey whatsoever.
