Modern Kitchen Tap Pull Out Spray Sink Mixer Faucet Swivel Spout Single Lever

This tape is amazing. I had wanted one of these for a long time and took the plunge. It was a bit of a pig to install but it wasn't due to the product, the ceramic sink we have was difficult and awkward. Its a real nice quality tap and people think we spent a couple of hundred on it! Looks great and works well with our Combi-Boiler. Really smart and top notch, nothing cheap about this at all.It might be worth noting that you will need a tool to tighten the nut underneath and I measured it at 34mm so be prepared if you get this to have the right stuff. I couldn't wait and the tool I ordered didn't help as it was too bulky to work underneath so I stripped all the silicone, lifted the sink up and installed it separately - this was perfect as it helped me get rid of some mouldy silicone.

I like the style of the tap. The quality looks ok, not superb but not too bad. The installation is standard, so it is quite understandable even with the simple instruction. However, as there are many pipes squeezed in the tube, it is very hard to screw the tap on the sink when all connections are done. As the tap mostly likely behind the existing sink, it is also very hard to do the connections after fixing the tap. So the sequence of connections are very important, for diy installation. My suggestion is:1: put the water tap at the position (into the hole on the sink top);2a: put the bottom screw and rubber on loosely;2b: connect the mixed water tube (the long main tap tube) loosely;2c: loose the bottom screw (and you cant take it off because of the circle created by the long tube);2d: take the tap out of the hole, and properly fasten the mixed water tube;3: put the tap at the position again, and properly fasten it to the bottom screw;4: connect to the hot water;5: connect to the cold water. The hot/cold indicator (red/blue nob) can be taken off, so don't worry about which is which.

(Now updated after three years of use ) The taps arrived very promptly, much sooner than expected. We have not been able to install them yet but they look and feel super quality.and they are just what we were looking for. Once they are installed and in use we will post a further review. The taps are made of real heavy brass and appear to have a top quality chrome fimish. With a ten year warranty we should get plenty of service from them.It is Now 3 years since we purchased this tap.. it is so much better quality than the tap that came with our very very expensive fitted kitchen. We have this in the Utility/Laundry room. And it is a supper product.. as others have mentioned, the head does not fully retract when you have pulled it down but that is little compared to how nice the tap is.. the chrome is still shiny and the whole thing looks good and works perfectly. We have a reasonably deep sink,manufacturer Franke, so we have no issue with the spray or stream.I think if it flows too hard you need an inline valve under the sink and turn. Down the flow a little

I have always wanted one of these style taps ever since I first saw them many years ago, so when they became more reasonably priced I jumped at the chance of getting this one. I can't tell you how much of an anticlimax this tap was... actually, I can tell you!Firstly, my sink is a bog standard, basic council house sink - the type with one recessed area and a drainage area. My reason for telling you this will become clear soon enough. Also, my review doesn't take into account the installation itself - I did this with the help of my old man (who has plumbed several kitchens and bathrooms from scratch). My installation experience was a bit of a nightmare, but that is mainly to do with the existing plumbing under my sink and nothing to do with this tap.So, why my disappointment? Two reasons really - a minor reason and a very major one. The minor reason is the instructions themselves, or in this case, the distinct lack of them. As you can see from my attached photo, the instructions seems to be shared with various other types of taps and do not really help you if you are trying to fit this yourself. Having never before fitted a tap of this type, it gave us no clues as to the best place to attach the weight on to the hose. It doesn't really even say what the weight is for (we're presuming it is to help the hose retract once it has been pulled out) but many aspects of this was trial and error and proper basic instructions for this particular tap would have reduced the fitting time greatly.The main reason I am disappointed (and will have to remove the tap at some point) is the angle the tap points at. If you look at my photo, you can see that it points at a 45 degree angle and not at the more downward angle of the photo in the product description. I have tried to bend the spring downward, but it is very resistant to this and I do not want to break it. This is where the details of my sink come in to play. With the tap head fully retracted and using the aerated flow, the stream hits the side of the sink closest to you. When using the spray function, water flows over the side of the sink and onto the floor. You might say 'just have it dangling a bit like in the description photo if you want to use the spray', but the pressure of the spray forces the head to retract back and so water goes back over the top of the sink. As I said previously, my sink is nothing out of the ordinary, so to me this is a design/manufacturing flaw.Even though I got this tap at a discount for an unbiased review, unfortunately the significant flaw means I can only rate it at 3 stars. If you have a large sink then it may be ok for you, but for my standard sink it causes problems and so I am unable to use it to its full functionality.

Excellent product - This is a very nice product and compliments my kitchen very well. Could not be happier, looks excellent, functions well and attracts compliments from visitors.Fitter advised this was nice and easy to fit with no issues, as per other reviews. Maybe get somebody experienced to fit!Price was excellent and reduced by 75% nearly on purchase, does not look cheap and certainly would pass as a premium item.Packaging was good, the tap itself was in a separate cloth bag to avoid damage. All parts present when fitted. I like this item and would highly recommend.Pictures to follow.

the nozzle is made from plastic, which does not bode well for durability, and the hoses provided WERE NOT standard British fittings, out by 1ml. I did not find this out until I was trying to fit them. Luckily I was able to BUY two new hoses from a good plumbing supplier near me, for an extra £20 than I should have. Once fitted it does work efficiently and I like the extendable hose.

Era justo lo que buscaba, para sustituir el grifo que tenía (de apariencia era casi igual) y que se había estropeado. Tuve un poco de dificultad para instalarlo, pero de momento funciona genial.
