A very high quality scale for a very low quality price, said in the American Weigh, "Its only a dub bro!"Well worth the price and the button activated pop out digital screen is just too cool, even friends go "whoa, I like that." It is very precise and did not need any calibration at all. It has two plastic trays that double as a full plastic cover for the scale. One tray is smaller and one tray is double height which allows obvious uses. It has a decent little pleather case to put it in too. An all around good buy for anyone ballin' the "American Weigh."

Not bad for about $20. Worked great. Acquires weight quickly, but is sensitive to vibration. I got about a year of use out of mine. Went to turn it on recently and it wouldnt work. changed the battery, still nothing. I believe the fault may lie in the spring loaded display/control mechanism. Be careful not to get the wires on the underside stuck in the mechanism. Worked great. Just dont be too rough with it, or it will eventually stop working.

Purchased to weigh grams of herbs (tobacco included). Needed a scale accurate within .05g and this scale certainly performs within my desires. No calibration necessary and it's been accurate since it has arrived (over three months of ownership). I worry the weight-plate is delicate and may easily break if pressed against too firmly, but the reminder of its engineering is suitable for comfortably measuring anything beneath 100 grams. I am entirely satisfied with my purchase and have recommended this scale to a few friends already.

For it to only be $5 at the time of my purchase it was an amazing value for my money, I bought it to weigh metals ie. Gold and silver and it is very accurate. It's not very big thickness about the same as a DVD case and it's the width of an average drink coaster, If needed it could be carried in your pocket easily.

I love everything about this scale. The clear cover can be used as a tray. The blue LED bar is spring loaded- Simply push a button and the bar shoots out. it takes AAA batteries that are conveniently accessible anywhere. The scale is accurate, portable, and super slick design-wise. It even comes with a faux leather carrying case. I use it to weigh powdered nootropics (brain vitamins) and it's absolutely perfect. unless you need a .01 g scale, buy this scale; it's accurate, portable, and super slick design-wise.

This was my favorite digital scale of them all. It worked for about 2 years until I managed to drop it very hard with the screen protruded. It took quite a bit of wear and tear because the design is very simple, but the screen remains protected while closed, requiring a spring latch release to reveal instead of just a flap covering it. More square shape rather then rectangular, with a clear deep tray, and very accurate. After a year, I was given a scale calibration set. I used this set to check the accuracy of the scale. Mind you, it is a 0.01 digit scale. I went through all the weights, and it was on point every single one, with a full year of use without calibration. 1 Gram was 1.00, 5 Grams was 5.00 etc etc.Would I buy again? Definitely. My favorite digital scale to date.

The scale consistently measures -0.02 as compared with other scales--including those from AWS. Getting the display/controls to pop out requires the user to search all four sides toward the bottom of the unit to find the button to press so that the display unity will pop out--quite a hassle. And the unit is so lightweight that merely pressing any of the control buttons results in moving the unit unless it is held steady with the other hand. Overall it is an almost-usable scale; however, it doesn't compare with any of the other AWS scales.
