Ratcheting Screwdriver - I-RATCHET Ergonomic Stubby Ratcheting Screwdriver with Quick Release, Torque Assist - Wrist Stress and Pain Relief

Please don't think this is a heavy-duty unit, but it's great when you have lots to screw and need a new angle on your wrist for a bit.I struggle to use it when the screw is not straight on easy to get to. The handle of the driver is too large to try to hold sideways, you just have to keep it in the palm of your hand.Anyway, it's nice to have and works well.

The idea behind this screwdriver is good -- a ribbed, round handle that can be firmly gripped to allow good torque. And that handle itself is mounted with three semi-flexible rubber sections so the handle has a little "give", a nice touch. However....the handle itself is too small, undermining the entire point of having a round ribbed handle instead of the more traditional screwdriver shaft. Too bad, if it were simply a bit larger this would be an excellent screwdriver. Instead, back it goes.

Works great! The design is really easy on the wrist. The ratcheting action is very narrow which is what I was looking for (48 teeth/7.5°). There's about 5° of backlash, but that is to be expected in a ratcheting system. The collar lock will even hold on to the stubby bits that don't have the deep grooves... That impressed me. The directional collar is very positive in its selection.The only two things I would change on this design is to make the body out of an aluminum alloy and machine the female bit holder a little tighter so there is less bit wobble.

Several co-workers have tried it and all find it comfortable and effective. Only negative I have discovered is the ratchet selector slips out of place fairly easily; not a major issue but may be indicative of internal quality issues. I am using it as a high volume reamer driver so it is getting much more use than most applications; time will tell how well it holds up, so far so good.

Had my first need to use this driver just the other night. It fits the hand well, has a great ratchet mechanism. Seems well built. Im glad I came across it. Ive ordered 2 others as stocking stuffers for Xmas

No instructions at all. I know it tilts as per pictures but have no idea how to get it to tilt. Thought I was getting bits but none came with.
