I have been wanting a boars hair brush for a while and seen the really expensive ones on line but I wasn't going to pay that. Well I got this and asked my daughter if she wants one but she thought it was silly so I didn't. First thing she grab it and tried it now she wants one. The brush is made really well and it solid made but light weight. I have really thick and course wavy hair that gets frizzy after I brush. This brush doesn't frizz my hair it makes it feel really soft and smooth. It goes through tangles very easily and I hardly have any hair in it after. I usually lose a lot of hair in the brush but not this one. It feels weird at first because it's hard to explain but you can tell it's touching every hair. You can feel the resistance it will actually wear your arm out brushing your hair in the best way. This is a great buy if your looking for a brush that will not damage your hair. Definitely will buy again if needed and for gifts. Also my daughter wants one now so I ordered her own and got my MIL one for her birthday.

This brush seems to be very good quality. It takes a little bit to get used to the different feel of it from the hard plastic brushes I’m used to. I have very long, fairly thick hair and it doesn’t go through it all the way so I had to learn to brush in smaller sections. This gets through all my hair thoroughly. Once I’ve done this and gotten the tangles, mostly at the nape of my neck, out of my hair, then I can brush through. It leaves my hair shiny and very strong without stretching and pulling. The results are stunning when I use it at night to distribute my hair oil, then put my hair in a silk cap. In the morning I can remove the cap, give it a quick run through with my fingers or the brush and be ready for the day. The brush is comfortable to hold and maneuver, as well as being comfortable against my scalp. When I’m finished I’m able to clean quickly with the included comb and a quick rinse. Editing to add, if you have long hair and have a problem with static with the brush, you can use a small amount of leave in hair oil or hairspray on the bristles themselves and it seems to alleviate the issue for that use

The depth of the bristles are shorter than I expected but it is a good brush.

It’s gentle on my hair. I’ve had for a few days. So far it’s working great and not as expensive as similarly advertised ones.

This is the second BLACK EGG Boar Bristle Brush I have purchased for myself. I love the brush for my hair type- thin, baby fine long hair. It is very easy to clean. I keep this one in my camper so that I don't have to wag it in and out or accidentally lose it, which has happened to my reading glasses. The brush and bristles are very good quality. I love the bamboo handle, also, it feels good in my hand and I love brushing my hair before bedtime and when I wake up in the morning. Good scalp massage as the brush pulls through my hair.

It wasn't what I expected. I thought the bristles would be firm however, it was a nice set and made of good quality. I only used once.

I had a similar style brush for many years from a brand called Umberto of Beverly Hills. That brand does not seem to exist any longer. I tried a brand call “Desert Breeze” which was supposedly a quality German-made brush, and when that lost bristles after 3 month, I tried a couple of brushes from Bass. Those lost the tips of their bristles within 6 months and would not honor their warranty. With the brush from Egg, I am pleased to report that it is holding up very well at 7 months. The texture of the mixed bristles is perfect for my long (elbow length), thin hair.

Love this brush and comb set. They also sent coiled hair bands that I will pass along because I have short hair. The brush has the right amount of boar bristles for healthy hair and shine and the pins provide scalp stimulation and detangling. The comb looks like would but seems to be some kind of plastic. Either way it works great on my short hair when wet. I highly recommend this set! If you are looking for a new brush and comb set, I say, go for it!! I also have the mini boar bristle brush for my new purse. It is so much nicer than any other brush or comb I’ve had for on the go. It freshens your style quickly, easily and effectively. Love it!

Build quality is very good. Bristles are firm without being hard. Smoothens hair and distributes your sebum from scalp to ends nicely. You can say bye bye to hair serums and hello to smooth, frizz free, shiny and soft hair. Works beautifully if you are regular with your brushing, even once a day. Took my hair from frizzy large curls to smooth, shiny, almost straight hair in about 3 days. Removes tangles with fewer breakages. Easy enough to clean out. I don’t oil my hair unless I am washing it. So any grease on the bristles is my own. Price point was high, but definitely worth it now that I am experiencing all the benefits.

This brush has lasted me years! I saw a video about boar bristle being so beneficial for long hair and I’d have to agree! This brush is great quality as well.

This hair brush, is by far the best hair brush I have ever bought for my hair. It goes through my hair like a warm knife through butter. Please buy it,you will not regret it.

Packaging was good and received all the items as advertised. The brush feels great on my scalp - boar bristles are pretty firm but don't hurt. Helps manage flyaways and makes my curly hair softer and shinier. I'm very happy with the purchase. Thank you Amazon for making this one available here in India.

These brushes are so good, I've bought several to stockpile them for the future in case I can't find them any more. Everyone in my family has them now and I give them away as gifts to my friends - yes, they're THAT good. Personally, I'm not a fan of the plastic hair ties and the little Viking comb that come with them, but who cares? The brush is solid, the shape and wood feels good in the hand, and most importantly, actually goes through my hair! I have the thickest hair in the universe and have been known to break brushes. Brushes with plastic handles? They can't take the strain. I rarely find any that can properly brush through all my hair's thickness straight down to my scalp - this does! If you have thick hair, long or short, get this brush.
