As shown, this product does not meet National Electrical Code standards. The 3 conductor dryer plug consists of two hot wires and neutral. It does NOT have an independent ground. A properly wired 120V 30A RV will have 3 conductors consisting of a 120V hot, neutral and independent ground.Will it work? Yes it will. Is it safe? I do not think so, nor does the writers of the national electrical codes.If you have a newer 4 WIRE dryer receptacle, this type of converter is fine.
