this stripper had issues holding onto the feeder wheel assembly, the wire in question had a cloth exterior then a rubber interior and then the stranded wire. the wire kept rolling off to the side, it wouldn't stay straight for it to cut it, after abut 5 passes and a 1/2 hours later , finally got the cloth exterior off , what i had to do was build a guide out of a piece of copper tubing before going into the stripper to keep the wire straight, it also kept bunching up in front the machine preventing the stripper from running. once the fabric was off, there was no issue cutting the rubber off, one pass only. but it took a lot of adjusting the wire and the cutting wheel and prep to get it to cut, what this needs is a better feeder wheel assembly. it didn't take long before it was plugged with cloth in between the grooves that are supposed to grip the wire as it was going through . it made the wheel assembly smooth preventing it from holding the wire. looking at other machine like this, and noticed that most sites offer a spare cutting wheel and or wheel assembly, i could be wrong on the wheel assembly part, no extra parts with this one with what i spent on it. i haven't used it since, i definitely will get some use out of this machine.
