Love this Sheila Maid , can easily air and dry my washing on the wettest and coldest of days as it’s set up in my kitchen , not only is it useful it is lovely to look at too giving a feeling of bygone days , considering getting a second

Perfect kit for the job and very good quality. The most important fact I would like to highlight however is regarding fitting it in a modern flat. We have acoustic ceilings and this means the gap between the plasterboard and the cross beams is 51mm. That does not leave a huge amount of thread to screw into the beam itself. I looked on the Sheila Maid site to see if there was a longer screw available but there was not. Maybe this would be a useful accessory to have available. Maybe also a link on the instructions to a video on youtube (there are some available) as the instructions for rigging the rope are explained better this way. Otherwise delighted with the pully.

Recommend you fix the hanging rails in place - they come out of their frame when you lower the frame.
