Being it was marinated in wine, thought it would be good, as the price of it was very high. Was really disappointed...it was soooo salty, had to throw it away.

Beautiful packaging amazing taste! As a BC native I know good salmon and this is delicious! Soft, juicy and lots of flavour! Great Christmas gift. Tried the recipe and it was delicious, my guests loved it! 10/10

Preparation:As described it's smoked and cooked ready to eat. Opening the package and sliding the fillet out is messy. The juices splashed all over and i coaxed the fillet with a fork only to tear apart the fillet.The skin is left on as would be expected so scrap the meat off the skin.While I loved the first bite, by the 3rd it was tasty too strong. Too smoky, and i love smoked products. But this seemed... off, like liquid smoke. And it made my pallet funky, for the next day everything I ate tasted off. Like when you brush your teeth and have an orange right after.I shared the rest with my Mom and cats. The cats didn't think much of it, and neither did my mom, who is arguably more of a fish fan than myself.I'd like to give it a 2.5 /5 stars more accurately, but with round numbers only, I'll round down due to the price.If you like fish, you may enjoy it more than myself.

Shoulda have taken photos back then.....worst choice ever! Good thing we had an incident and didn’t give it out as gift as we originally intended. But when we opened the package to eat it ourselves, omg, only a little piece of not fresh at all, badly presented salmon sitting in the middle. Couldn’t be more lucky this wasn’t given out......

It's not bad. I do not regret buying it once to try out the taste, but I would not buy it again.
