It doesn't make noise, it is very safe because of all the technology inside. Looks nice and well put together. For $10 it’s definitely worth the money. I’m giving it 4 stars cause this doesn’t fast charge the iPhone. I ran some tests. Dropped my iPhone battery percentage to 59% plugged in this usb car charger waited till it got to 70% and then I started the timer. Took 10mins 02secs to get to 70%. Did the same thing with my 12 watt charger and it took 9 mins 55 secs. Also did the same thing with my fast charger and it took 7 mins 45 secs to get to 70%. I also used the genuine proper usb-c cable from apple. This definitely beats the 5 watt charger that comes in the box with apple. But I wasn’t looking for a 12 watt charger I have plenty of those. I was looking for a fast charger. Anyone coming from an apple 5 watt charger will try this one and say they’re in heaven cause of how fast it charges. But it’s not true 18 watt fast charging. That’s why I’m returning mine.WHAT I RECOMMEND: ANDROIDIf your an android user this will probably fast charge your phone. I didn’t do any test with android phones but it’s pretty simple to find fast charging for android devices. And for the money it’s pretty tough to beat.iPhoneIf your an iPhone user this will work for you as well. But you’ll only get 2.4 amp 12 watt charging. Which is still faster then the 5 watt 1amp charger your iPhone came with. But why go out of your way to buy a usb c to lightning cable and this car charger adapter. when you can use the same iPhone cord your phone came with, and just buy another car charger adapter with 2 regular USB’s at 2.4 output each 24 watts total and you”ll get 12 watt charging plus an additional usb. It would be a cheaper option. If your looking for a fast car charger adapter like I was. Then you need to make sure it’s a “usb-c pd” which stands for power delivery. And it’s gotta be 18 watts or above. Hope this helps someone.

This brick is the second one I purchased, not because my first one stopped working but because it is still working long after several other chargers that I purchased since have bitten the dust. I was very happy to see that Amazon was carrying this and had named it "Amazon's Choice" because I had been unable to find it for a while - thus the inferior purchases. I especially like the way the power is distributed to the various ports according to the needs of a number of different devices, and the way this distribution is reflected in the graphics on the brick itself so that you always get the right power in the way that is ideal for the device I am charging. whether it's my iPhone, iPad or an android device. Plus it is not limited to those devices. Each port delivers a charge that would be suitable for any device that used that much or less power. I have a number of devices - such as a Digital Audio Player - that require a USB charge that aren't pictured on the brick. Because they are older type devices that don't require a lot of power to recharge, I just plug them in to any slot and it works fine. And the Quick Charge slot is super quick. Add that to the excellent warranty and the durability of this brick and it is easily the charging station of choice for me. And now I have an extra so that I can take one with me wherever I go. This is a great charger.

Just received my LB 5 port usb smart charger. I gave it 4 stars based on looks and feel. I will have this on my night stand to charge iPhone and other usb devices I have. I will update my review after I use it for a week or so.Update: I been using it for awhile now and I like that after it charges the device it stops charging. I want to buy another one for the wife’s night stand. I got her a different brand and it doesn’t stop charging after your device is at full charge. I will use hers for the computer room to top off GoPro batteries and camera.

I bought my first charger about three years ago. my wife bought me a wooden charging organizer that I can place all my electronics on to be charged and the this charger fits in the bottom, no problem. I have had e zero problems and excellent results with this charger. this product review is from my second charger I bought for my wife because I like the first one so much. I highly recommend this product.
