Jacquet Toast Francais, 200 g

We were looking for French toasts ("biscottes" in French) as we don't find them easily in the UK. We found these ones at a good price and we were really happy about them, good taste, it's crunchy and it melts in the mouth. A real pleasure when you eat them with jam or chocolate hazelnut (as the famous brand Nutellllllllla). You can't go wrong with them!

...this is French Toast at its' very best. Good sized slice with just the right amount of 'toasting' and thickness. Not over brittle so that it shatters and also not in the least soft to the bite - in other words it is nigh on the perfect French Toast. I will be ordering this on a regular basis and I recommend it. It amuses me that this French toast looks exactly like the image on the box. What you see is what you get! These are mini bread slices, gently baked to a golden dry, light, airy and crumbly little slice of tastiness. Size-wise they're about a third of the size of a normal slice of bread and about the same thickness. Very delicious, and completely the "real deal" French toast. Two wrapped packets of these per box with a closure tab on the box to keep them fresher longer. I'm pleased they don't go stale so very quickly thanks to the good outer box, giving you a few days grace to eat them once opened without having to find an airtight tin. Big boxes, and great value.

I am French and I have been looking for some biscottes for quite some time. Decided to try these and it is exactly as expected and of good quality. Not disappointed and will buy more. I do recommend it.

I love these, hard to find these kind of products in UK supermarkets these days. Morrisons do their own brand but for some reason they are full of sugar and far too sweet. These are very good with a bit of butter or jam - whatever takes your fancy!

Very good food. No palm oils..only rapseed oil. All ingredients are simple and healthy. Good taste too. Kids love it with philadelphia and jam. Nice size toasts..not too big. Would buy again.

These do have a very pleasant taste & texture. Had them with some spread cheese. However, mine look nothing like the picture on the box. They're very thinly sliced and are oblong rather than 'loaf shaped'. They're also packaged strangely. 2 separate packages of 13 slices, but with the seal along the longest edge. I was expecting the seal to be one end, as with a loaf of bread, so that it would be easy to remove a few and then reseal the pack. As such, I won't be buying these again, but will try some alternatives.

Great with cheese, pate etc. I love them but find difficult to buy in the supermarket
