This has been amazing to use! No issues with it, perfect to work with as I need to use my badge and work keys as I go. Just clip it easy on your pants, whatever you want to use it on! Size and weight is great, not too big thankfully.

I really wasn't expecting anything as nice as this at all! They are nice and solid, feel very well put together, and the retracting cord & the mechanism are super strong. I absolutely love that it has both a carabiner-type clip and a regular clip on the back for like a shirt pocket or lapel. Not to mention, the locking pouch for the actual badge itself completely seals and that whole entire part is water proof - which is GREAT because I bought these for my friends and I to put our (cardboard) chairlift passes in it. The only minor concern is that the retracting mechanism is so strong, that if you let it whip back into place after pulling it out, it will split the plastic piece apart at the button where it attaches to the badge holder. Not a big enough deal to me to subtract a star, but I will probably use the key ring part on the badge holder just in case. Or, you know, don't let it whip violently back into place in the first place lol.

I purchased these badge holders/retractable clips over a year ago, 15 months ago to be exact. I am a custodian in a college dorm with many locked doors and security key box that require key card swiping for entry. I go in and out of these doors over and over. The first retractable clip just broke today and it was actually the piece that attaches to the badge holder. The rest of the clip works fine but because I'm not able to trust the attachment to the id/key card that has access to every door, I need to replace. I replaced the first clear plastic badge holder a while ago with the second one but it lasted at least 6 months in very wet conditions (cleaning showers) with chemicals thrown in the mix. I pull on and retract the id/key card for entry numerous times all day long, it gets caught on furniture, counters, equipment, etc. and snaps back and has lasted this long. The thing has been practically indestructible for what I would consider a reasonable time for the price and the abuse it's been subjected to. Gladly buying again.

Came with two clips and two keycard covers. Very good! I use them for my work badge and the extending string is very useful!

I thought these had the reinforced plastic clips/snaps, but they don't. I looked at so many of these before deciding on these, I thought they did, my mistake. However...these seem very durable, as I've owned several badge holders before, and this one is by far the sturdiest one I've ever used. The cord is definitely different...it is definitely not nylon, which breaks easily (I've had a few break this way), it is a dark grey slippery, thick, woven cord, so I do believe it really is Kevlar like they say it is. The springs (on mine anyway) are really wound tight, so to the guy who said this would only hold 5 keys must have gotten a defective one. I think mine could hold about 100 keys and still retract all the way back. I like the key ring addition. It allows me to now keep my desk keys with my access badge, which is nice. I don't use the plastic badge covers, but they seem ok aside from the fact the cover is designed for the clip to go through the top of the cover, not the badge itself. I could see this plastic cover failing in multiple ways (top part breaking off, side or bottom splitting open) and potentially losing your badge without your realizing it. I like the two different clips - carabiner, and belt clip. If the badge clip itself was reinforced (plastic with the integrated cloth webbing), this would be the perfect badge holder, and you'd probably never need another one!

Franchement très satisfait ! Les porte-badges sont solides et bien transparents, donc les cartes restent parfaitement lisibles. These are fantastic and can withstand a lot of use for many months. I use them for bar code scanning so they get pulled and retracted many times a minute. Very happy and have purchased many over the last few years.

Also für den Preis im Doppelpack kann man nicht meckern. Tut was es soll, ist stabil. Was will man mehr.
