Works well
Bought the carb just as a backup generator project but i had to install it during a storm when we lost power for days and ran out of gasoline. The install was straight forward and the generator started right up after purging the line for a couple of minutes. It also needed a small adjustment to the regulator. Instructions would have helped but it is fairly obvious

generac rs7000e tri fuel
I used this on a generac rs7000e 420 cc 14hp motor. I started it on propane, gas, and natural gas. on propane I had to turn the carb screw out a quarter turn to get it to start. If you hear a loud pop then its to rich or if it tries to start but quits its to lean and needs more fuel. Turning the carb screw in gives it less gas and turning it outgives you more gas. Try quarter turns in or out to adjust.

Great Fit Aldi 13hp Kingceaft
Got this for converting an Aldi 13hp generator to tri-fuel. There are no included instructions, but the swap is pretty obvious. Startup sequence is a bit different from gasoline, but the generator runs great. Easily handled the table saw, dust collector and torpedo heater simultaneously. The engine on this unit is a โChondaโ, aka cloned Honda single cylinder. You may need to adjust the frequencyโ this was running at 64Hz. Ideally you want 59-62Hz. Simple adjustmentโ do it under load.

Works well. I put it on a Honda EX5500 with a GX360K1 Motor. Not a direct replacement
I docked this product 1 star because of all the alterations that I had to do to make it work. My Generator has an electric choke and the choke on this carb won't work with it and is way to stiff to be opened and closed by an auto choke. In fact, the choke on this carb is REALLY hard to operate and it feels like the mechanism would brake if used much. Thankfully I plan to run it on propane from now on so I don't anticipate needing the choke often. The other alteration I had to make was to the throttle activator. It had to be cut down and a larger hole drilled. I also separated the pressure reducer so I could put it outside the cabinet (it is a water cooled generator and is completely enclosed). This only took some 3/8" fuel line and hose clamps. Overall, great product for the cost, but they need to fix the choke mechanism.

No instructions included; here are mine
My install is on a North Star 8000 IPG powered by a 13hp Honda GX390. Install is easy once you gather the correct materials. You will need an adjustable regulator because it is easy to trip the shutoff on the carburetor's regulator. I used this one and cut off the threaded fitting: https://www.amazon.com/dp/B096CRXM43 You will need a hose clamp. Once the hose is connected, leave it attached to the carburetor or you will abrade the hose at the barb fitting. This unit does not include a fuel cutoff, so plan to turn off propane with the regulator, and turn off gasoline with something like this: https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B0B6C1714D This doesn't come with gaskets so you'll need a kit like this: https://www.amazon.com/dp/B00VFG68HW The wires on the bottom are for connection to an oil pressure switch; applying 12v will shut off the fuel (momentary use only). If you don't have an existing connection you may ignore the wires. There is no need to use gasoline on startup before running propane; it will start fine on propane. You will not need the choke lever to start on propane. Leave it open. Once you find the sweet spot in the idle and the regulator output, make a mark on the regulator to make startup a breeze.

Runs my B&S generator on natural gas
I have tried several carbs, and this one works the best running on natural gas without having to partially choke the carb.

Champion 9000/7200 generator.
Installed on Champion generator with a 439cc Honda clone. Some modifications on the propane inlet fitting to clear the wheel. I did use a certified propane line. Also a 0 to 20 psi adjustable regulator(set at about 5 psi) Also you will need a gasket set. Runs great on test runs. No more gasoline.

Value for money conversion
Tested, fits and works fine on a Clarke pg6500adves generator as sold by Machine Mart. Invalidates the generator gaurentee though but needed as some sites do not allow petrol generators. Side panel/cover on generator needs a little adjusting to allow clearance for gas pipe and carburettor. Generator will now run on petrol and propane. Haven't tested it on natural gas. No instructions with it but fitting examples are on Utube - it's an easy swap. Will advise if any problems down line but all good so far.

Works
Installed carb on a 188F 13hp generator engine. Runs great on gasoline, natural gas, or propane. I was able to pull full load from generator on all fuel types. So far working as described.

Dangerous failure
I fitted this carb to a Loncin 8000 generator. Easy to do and easy to set up. However after a few hours of operation the orange plastic LPG/CNG changeover knob fell out of its housing. It did this because the circlip on its shaft just came off along with the retaining spring. I could not find the circlip and spring but luckily found the knob which is now held in place with a cable tie.
