O2COOL Treva Fan: Small but Fierce Breeze Boss
So, the O2COOL Treva 5 Inch Battery Powered Fan claims to be portable with 2 cooling speeds — which sounds like the perfect sidekick for surviving your office’s questionable AC decisions or your “I forgot to open the window” moments. Does it work? Remarkably well. Like, “I swear I’m in a tropical breeze commercial” well. It’s tiny, but don’t let that fool you — this thing packs a punch. Two speeds mean you can choose between a gentle “ahh” and a full-on “I’m blasting a hurricane” mode. Perfect for when you want to subtly cool off or announce to the room that yes, it is that hot. Battery powered means no awkward cord tangles or hunting for the nearest outlet like a caffeinated squirrel. Just pop in the batteries, turn it on, and bask in your personal wind tunnel. Pros: Surprisingly powerful for its size — like a pocket-sized wind machine. Two speeds let you control your breeze level, from “nice breeze” to “hold onto your hat.” Battery powered and portable, so you can bring it anywhere — including your desk, picnic, or that desert island you’re dreaming of. Cons: Batteries not included, so prepare for a scavenger hunt or emergency run to the store. Not quite strong enough to blow papers off your desk, but close enough to make you paranoid. Might cause coworkers to envy your personal breeze zone (or secretly plot to steal it). Final Verdict: ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ – 5 stars. Small, portable, and blows away the competition — literally. If you need a breeze buddy that won’t judge your sweaty existence, this is it.

O2COOL IS COOL
It was July 31st, 2019, my family and I were in Brooklyn, New York visiting my grandparents. We realized it was easier to fly there since it is a fourteen-hour drive from Georgia to New York. We figured we did not need to rent a car because we were either going to uber or drive my grandfather’s car (which is a 1998 Honda Accord). One afternoon we decided to go shopping, we got into my grandfather's car and we became aware that the AC was not working, keep in mind that it is ninety degrees outside. The mall was only ten minutes away, so we decided to go anyways. We sure regretted that, instead of taking ten minutes it took us about twenty-five because of New York’s traffic. At the end of the car ride we were all sweaty, uncomfortable, and never wanted to get back in that car. Because I am a genius, I went on Amazon and purchased a portable fan. It was a great purchase because the shipping was fast, affordable, the description was accurate, and the quality and functionality was great. I ordered two portable fans for $16.99 on July 31st and it arrived on August 2nd. We were lucky that the shipping was fast because we used that fan for the other five days that we were on vacation. Seventeen dollars can seem like a lot of money; however, I feel like we got our money's worth from those fans. If you think about it, we basically paid seventeen dollars for AC in the car. We also used the fans in my grandparents' house, which was also hot since they do not have central air. The size of the fan was also true to size. They were the perfect size, small enough to where we could hold and carry them and big enough for us to feel the air blowing. Unlike some other products you buy from Amazon the portable fans description was accurate. It said how it was perfect for both inside and outside, which was true because when we used the fan in and outside it worked great. It being portable was also accurate to description because the fans were light and small enough to carry around. They also did not try and hide the fact that the two d-cell batteries that are needed for the fans to work are not included. The quality and functionality were also great in this product. The fans had two different settings which was nice because it allowed us to be in control. Some people might think for seventeen dollars that the fans quality might not be good, but to us they worked great. They are made from good material and the air that blows from it is strong. In conclusion, I give the portable fans 5 stars. It really made our trip in New York better; we did not have to be sweaty and uncomfortable in my grandparent's car and house. The price of the fans is totally worth $16.99. The shipping was fast, the package only took two days to arrive and we were able to use it as soon as we got it. The description was accurate because the fans were portable, they had different settings, and they did not include the two d-cell batteries. The quality and functionality were also great. The fans cooled us down and they never stopped working. If you are looking to buy two good portable fans that are not super expensive, I believe that this item is for you. You will truly be satisfied and not regret buying these fans.

The "Biggest" Little Personal Fan
I have a good friend that has this fan. I just loved hers, so I had to order one. It's well made but lightweight, portable, adjustable, has two speeds and operates on two D cell batteries. It's the perfect little personal fan!! If you're looking for a great little fan, you need to order this one!!

I like these, but people should be aware these are ...
I like these, but people should be aware these are not for continuous use for many hours every day, all summer long or the motor will wear out. These do not have DC or AC brushless motors like found in computer fans, equipment, or a brushless AC fans like window fans have. These have motors with armature contact brushes inside like most cordless tools, vacuum cleaners, toy cars, & drones have. If you ran those most of the day, every day, for months, their motors would wear out too. These are for occasional use where power isn't available or convenient -- like during camping trips, fishing, stuck in traffic without AC, keeping cool on the hottest part of the hottest days, or during a power failures on hot days. If you plan on using this as your primary daily personal space fan for a whole summer, plan on buying another when it wears out... they don't cost much when on sale, so maybe stock up on a few spares if no AC power is available & these are your only option. If AC power is available, use an AC powered fans with a brushless motor to get one that will last for continuous long-term use. Or get the more sophisticated & much more expensive battery operated fans that use computer-like fans with brushless motors if no power is available & you need to run a fan daily for hours. These are great for camping trips. At my age & condition heat can kill me, so I also like them to keep cool during power outages. I do keep one at my desk to cool down occasionally but not for all day & daily. At this small size, low battery consumption, & low price, they do not blow hard. They do provide a fair mild breeze if placed nearby. It's a personal fan, but couple people sitting near it will feel it. It is not a window fan. It will not cool down a whole room, tent or apartment when placed in a window, but if you have no power, it is an improvement over nothing at all. If you need something more powerful, it will cost more, & if run on batteries, consume more batteries faster. More wind requires more power/batteries. I did a run-time test on these by putting AA size Tenergy rechargeable batteries in a "D" cell adapter enclosure, & used them in the fan. It ran it on 2 AA batteries (not D cells). It ran 8 hours before I noticed the fan was starting to run slower. By 10 hours it had slowed down to as fast as setting it on low with fresh batteries. By 11 hours, although it was still spinning, it wasn't enough to feel any breeze from it anymore. D cells have about 3 times the power & run-time of AA batteries. So you will get a very long run-time. My window AC unit never circulates enough cool air all the way to the bathroom. So it's always very hot in there. Don't want to open the bathroom window to let the hot, humid swampy air in. I place this fan in the bathroom doorway blowing in, & I can feel fair breeze from the toilet 5 feet away. I understood these don't blow hard but have a very long run time. So I bought 3 to keep cool enough camping or during power failures, & as spares if I wear one out (I use one at my desk occasionally because it takes up little space & is so portable). Use it for the right purpose! It is not for continuous use all day, every day, for a whole summer. It's a personal fan for occasional or emergency use. I probably would have gave it 5 stars if they warned people not to use it continuously daily. I was aware of what I was getting, but others may not be.

Versatility is outstanding!
This little fan is the best thing since sliced bread! I first got one at the hospital where I recently had hip replacement surgery. It was too hot in my room so I asked if they had a fan. They brought me this little guy. It weighs 9.6 oz making it super portable and very quiet. I set it up on a table next to me on the lower speed and it’s perfect! I’m really surprised how effective it is! There are endless ways you can use it putting it just about anywhere. It’s so portable! It takes two D volt batteries and so far it’s been running for 10+ days. The hospital let me keep it and I immediately bought two more, one for my sister and another one for me ~ just because ☺️ I give it a 9.95 out of ten (nothing is a perfect 10]

Works well enough as a back-up for power outages ... I will keep it
It is fairly cheap plastic. I had trouble removing the very tiny screw that was holding the battery cover in place. I have no tool small enough to unscrew it, so I had to work it free with my fingers. Fortunately it was partially unscrewed to begin with. Once I got the screw off, I could not remove the battery compartment cover without some major tugging (and minor cussing). Next I had some trouble making the two D batteries fit in the compartment. BUT ... once I got through all that, it seemed to work quite well for a small, cheap plastic fan. I probably would not have paid $21 for it, except that it's virtually impossible to find battery-operated fans in south Florida after a major hurricane (Irma) comes through ... and I really wanted one since hurricane season isn't over yet. It works well enough in my air conditioned home, so hopefully it would work well if a hurricane knocks my power out. I won't put the screw back in and don't see a need to put the battery cover back on either. I didn't see an on/off switch, the placement of the batteries turned it on. The button just toggled back and forth between high and low. No paperwork or instructions in the box. All in all, I think it will be a handy item to have in case of disasters or other power outages. I imagine it will work well for travel or camping as well. UPDATE: I purchased a very similar fan from Bed, Bath and Beyond website. They look so much alike, but are different in a few very important ways. My original review is for the 5-inch fan that takes 2 D-cells. It didn't have an on/off switch but did have that tiny screw that was very hard to remove from the battery compartment. The one I just got from BB&B takes 4 D-cells. It feels much sturdier. It has an on/off switch and the battery compartment is much easier to open (no screw). It has a place to plug in an AC adapter and the air seems to blow colder. The one I purchased at Amazon cost me $8 more than the one at BB&B, but the price today has come down to the same price ($11.99). I cannot tell the difference from the two boxes, except that the bar code and stock number are different. I won't return the cheaper-quality fan, but I much prefer the BB&B fan. I will attempt to upload three pictures. In each picture, the one on the left is the one I bought from Bed, Bath & Beyond website for $11.99 plus shipping. The one on the right is the one I bought from Amazon for $21.32 (prime). I still give the original fan a 3-star rating. I would give the second one a 5-star rating. SORRY - the pictures came out upside down, so the left and right are backwards.

Operates on D. cell battery.
I purchased this in case there are power cuts . Because it is battery operated I don't have to rely on recharging it. The fans work well , give out a good wind and are well made. Would be very useful in a number of situations, boating, camping etc.

Small and efficient fans
I bought these fans to fit into small spaces to keep the frost off my windows. They sit on the window ledge and do an excellent job.

excelente calidad, no hace ruído
