Good: It is beautiful! The wood veneer on the surface and other areas are very nice. One part of the natural wood pattern reminds me of a nice walnut top guitar. The leg seems to be made of solid wood.Not so good: It is a little taller than a standard dinning table (perhaps an inch taller?), probably because of the extra thickness of the added drawers, yet leaving enough room for the thighs for full-size occupants. I am not bothered but certainly noticed it when I sit at it. You will definitely notice it if you are using fork and knife on steak (right in front of you that you have to lift your arms higher), but probably not when using chopsticks reaching for food a little further away from you.. Kids would probably notice it regardless.BAD: Now the most important thing, but not directly related to the quality itself:I would probably not going to order furniture of this size and quality online anymore. Have you ever ordered something online, got it somewhat damaged, but not broken enough for the trouble to return it? This is exactly the case for me. For a heavy piece of furniture (100+ pounds), it is not a good thing. So, what was damaged? One corner of the table was somewhat caved-in. The same corner on the packing box was kind of crumbled (only became obvious after we saw he damage at the table) and it looks like the box had been dropped at that corner. The corner area of the table was made with strong practical board, with wood veneer, and the wood did not crack, the under side of the veneer separated a little bit. The board yield a little but it was at the under-side of the table top. You can see it only if you look for it. The opposite corner also suffered a minor hit, minor compared to the first one and I only noticed it after noticing the first one and went to look for other damages.Two of the four drawers also suffered some damages (both the same way). The front wood plates was a little separated at the joint of the side-piece (I called it joint, but it was more like glue). The front plates also look almost bend near the joint. Since the drawers were not made as solid as the table itself, I was able to hit the area (almost) in place with my palm. Looking at the damages on the drawers, I don't thing the shipping box has enough support and padding to support the pre-assembled and attached drawers.So, at the end, it looks OK but not perfect. Most of the damages was noticed after assembly (very simple process, 8 screws in total). Would I have bought a table from a store if I had seen the damages? NO. Was it bad enough for me to go through the trouble to disassemble, repack, call and return, etc. and hope for a better replacement? NO..That said, one can argue that the damages was not results of the design or quality of the table itself. I would not buy again but I cannot blame it on the product or the seller. Perhaps a better packaging might help. The only comments I can make directly about the product is: it is beautiful, but it is a little too tall. I might come back and add pictures

I usually hate reviews that don't actually review the product, but this needs to be said. The table is very nice. It is sold and weighs over 100lbs. I would love to have it in my home. Unfortunately Amazon, or UPS, can't deliver one undamaged. This is our second and it arrived more damaged than the first. It just isn't well packaged. It is in very flimsy cardboard and low density Styrofoam. So it arrives in a shredded box with scratches and dings and splintered wood. (at least mine did twice. Amazon was somewhat great with the return, but taking it to a UPS store is a pain in the ass, it is huge and weighs over 100 lbs as you recall. Plus it takes about 30 minutes to tape the box back together because as you recall it arrived pretty shredded, even before we opened it.Buy it from Ashley, pay a little more, it's probably worth the saved hassle.

We’ve been wanting the Ashley Centiar dining collection for awhile. Found it on Amazon for a great price and was a little hesitant. I must say, this was the best buying decision we made. We got the table we wanted at a fraction of the price.The box delivered to us a little damage, but the table was in perfect condition.

It’s easy to assemble and really good design it was heavy the thickness is good. The only problem was the delivery or I am not sure where it went wrong but we got the product and the box was in poor condition and there’s one part that was opened that the tip of the table got damaged. when we open it one of the drawers was broken. We need a table so we have to use it but just take note to people will buy this product. I wish we get some refund or discount for the product not being in good condition. Hope they fix how they boxed the product to protect it from being damaged next time. Just disappointed.

Everything is great with the exception of damage on one side of the table. Putting the legs on was a breeze, but to stand it back up in the legs... you will need help. Hoping the manufacturer will have a quick fix for the damage.

Searched a long time to find one that would fit our space, match our current decor and meet our budget needs. This table does all of that. We love it. Just a note, it is a very heavy table because of the drawers, it was damaged in shipping, no way a fedEx or UPS driver by themselves could lift the thing. It took three of us at home to get it in the house. One corner of the top was damaged, I'm sure it was dropped in shipping. So, get help when it arrives and hope for no damage

There’s a bad scratch on one drawer handle, one corner of the table has some damage and the stain on one leg wasn’t done well. I’ve done a better job of staining.
