There is no way to keep the strap cinched.
I wrote a review about how the strap won't stay cinched. It wasn't even that big a deal; it was just annoying. It's still very nice leather, high quality otherwise, and I still use it as a backup. Next thing I know, the seller refunds my entire purchase price! I have NEVER seen customer service at that level. If they ever make one just like this, but with the same kind of straps as my Samsonite, I'm buying it in a heartbeat. Unbelievable.

this backpack is just as they described. it is very comfortable and smell nothing. and it is big enough for a laptop and sime documents. it is very suit for college students.

backpack is huge, straps are not very adjustable so doesn't fit right on your back
its hard to tell online how big the bag is and its huge, if you are a big person it might be ok but if you are not very big, it would hang off you' straps are not very adjustable.

Great backpack!
The backpack is very nice!...the only issue is that the leather is rather thin and I hope it lasts long.
