The translations are so on point, unlike a lot of other books out there on Rumi poetry. But what I find so lovely about this book is its unique and thoughtful approach in having the option of not just reading through the poems, but choosing one poem of the 52 poems provided; one for each week of one whole year, to contemplate during the week and use the blank pages next to the poem to reflect. Such a profound way to begin every week, therein creating a year, full of love!

i love that there is one poem per page! it's so simple and yet rich with meaning and essence! Very elegantly presented with calligraphy of the original language on top of each page! Plus blank page next to each poem so you can write your reflections! It's a book to keep for a lifetime as each time I read it, I get new insights and perspectives! It's a beautiful translation especially since it's a direct translation from the original poem, which makes it even more special! Highly recommended!

I love this collection of translated poems from Rumi. The author chooses deeply meaningful and concise English translations of Rumi's poems, meant to be read one per week. I really admire how the books makes it easy to interact with Farsi, at any level of familiarity. In the back, each poem appears untranslated, and also in English sounded out phonetically. I found this to be such a nice touch! The art on the cover is gorgeous as well.
