Perfect for the Lebkuchen
Tastet/texture just like a Communion wafer, which is how it is suppose to be. Edible! Currently seems to be unavailable. Tariffs must have made it pricey.

Great, but overpriced
Great product, but I found the same product locally and it was way cheaper than this. It is nice to have an online option. Tastes as expected. Used these for german cookies, which is needed as they tend to stick together.

FALSE ADVERTISING FOR VERY EXPENSIVE OBLATEN
Agree with many other one star comments!! Don't fall for Kuche's False Advertising! You think you are buying 100 and only 44 in 1 pack and not 100!!. The product works well...but NEVER AGAIN!! Find another option as this is a scam!

Organic Wafers Imported From Germany - But Only 44, Not 100!
First the positive: they are the real deal and an authentic import from Germany. They even have the "Bio" label on it which is comparable to USDA organic. They taste fresh and do not have a rancid flavor to them unlike some others I have ordered over the years. The main problem is that there are not 100 wafers per package - as currently advertised - but only 44. It is certainly a bit pricey for that, but then again it is directly from Germany and even organic, it depends how you look at it.

So glad I found them.
Being German these wafers are a must have for Christmas baking. My Lebkuchen were perfect. So glad I found them on Amazon. Don’t have to rely on friends from Germany sending them.

Too expensive
Works well for lebkuchen--the German gingerbread cookie so many of us love. :-) The only issue is that this is rather expensive. We decided we could make lebkuchen without it next time. :-(

Zuerst dachte ich was mache ich mit 100 Oblaten, nach den Backaktionen im Dezember hatte ich sogar zuwenig. Diese Oblaten geben den Plätzchen ein wenig mehr Stabilität. Würde ich immer wieder verwenden. es geht zur Not auch ohne.
