Thicken the clear plastic to avoid manufacturing defective returns
Update: Sept 7, 2020- Manufacturer replaced the product and I had a new one delivered and installed today. Now that’s service! LOVHO understands quality customer service- that gets them 5 stars. Buy with no worry that they have your back if it fails. Today I tightened the part that failed onto the large o-ring gently; babied it. Then turned water on. The water level in the filter rose from bottom to top then into the threaded area and gently seeped. So I hand tightened it a bit more, enough to prevent leakage. Let’s see how long it lasts. —-Update: Sept 1, 2020- The clear plastic filter cover failed today spraying water for I don’t know how many hours! Disappointed. Manufacturer- We don’t need to see the filter. Just knowing it is working and won’t break is good enough. Please send a tougher product that won’t break ASAP. —-May 2020- received today. haven’t used it yet. looks decently made. I do wish the connectors were real brass metal vs. fake brass so that it would last long with any water out there. Based on other reviews I think I’ll scuff up the outside area of the clear plastic outside the threads and apply a few layers of 5 min epoxy to toughen it up. this company should do the right thing and thicken this clear plastic part since it should be able to be repeatedly removed and tightened without fear if breakage.

Leaked upon arrival
So this seems to be kind of cheap, the brass male end and the filter bowl leaked when I hooked it up and I had checked that both were pretty tight. I was able to get the bowl a little tighter and the leak stopped. The brass fitting was screwed in as far as it would go. It is threaded into plastic threads so I didn't want to force it tighter. I installed Teflon tape and that did the trick. I was amazed at how it changed the amount of water going into my washing machine. We have always had issues with the little filter at the inlet getting clogged. Being on a well system there is a lot of sediment in the lines and it would constantly clog the little filter. Our loads are getting done much faster now, I should have done this years ago!

Good quality
Well made. Came with spare O rings. The brass hose connections are so much better than the plastic ones on other models.

Poor Quality
I have a water well so I bought this filter to capture sand that occasionally comes up. It did not works as I thought. Screen is to big. Now the real problem. It did not hold up. Plastic broke lose from the ring connecting to body. Thus it flooded yard before we caught it. Don't waste your money. Bought this a few months back so to late to return.

Great!
The water we use for the yard comes from the river…sand, grass, debris & all. With sprinklers, I had to clean that tiny little screen every 30 minutes. With this, I can actually move the sprinkles several times! Makes my work easier. And these are very easy to clean, right there at the spigot. You just unscrew the clear plastic portion, pull off the screen, turn on the water, & rinse right there. Don’t have to clean the tiny screen at the sprinkler as often. I have these on every spigot, and a spare, just in case. Don’t loose the washer on the plastic piece…leaks like a sieve if you do.

Broke in 5 months
Worked decent for 5 months. I keep the hose off when not in use so it wasn't under constant pressure. Could be the Florida heat got to it? But I heard a loud pop and then the sound of water and the plastic housing cracked open. Still not a bad price for 5 months.

I Like this Thing
This is a good little filter and was great for my application (I was flushing my Rinai hot water heater with vinegar to remove scale - done annually). The filter screen was fine enough and the plastic housing was stronger than I anticipated. Great value for a little filter built like a tank.
