SLPBABY Silk Pillowcase for Hair and Skin with Hidden Zipper Print (King, Pattern14)

This is a very beautiful pillow cover, however it's not smooth where the flowers are printed on, they have a rough texture. It was pretty enough that I didn't want to return it, so I purchased a second pillow case with no print to sleep on. (the plain one is comfortable.) I would not order a printed one again for the purpose of sleeping.

This is a really nice pillowcase. I think people commenting about it loosing the sheen and silkiness are not using a appropriate detergent. With silk you can’t use detergents with enzymes. The woolite (the one with the pink cap) is made for pure silk. I’ve washed mine several times already and it still looks fabulous. I purchased this so my hair would be less frizzy and not in knots in the morning and it’s helped so much. I plan on purchasing another one in a different color.

Great silk pillow cover. Choose Pattern 15. I like the hidden zipper on the end and the print on both sides, not the back side like some others are and only print on 1 side. Haven't noticed any difference in my hair yet. Does not side around and is very soft. I washed in in cool water and delicate in the dryer, took it out right away wasn't to many wrinkles. Love this print.

When I first received this pillowcase I had some serious doubts whether or not it was genuine silk. But everything that I read said the true test was to take a few fibers and light them on fire, and I didn’t want to ruin my brand new pillowcase so I just went ahead and used it anyway. It was soft, but not as silky as I expected it to be. However, after only a month it completely fell apart. Now that it’s ruined anyway, I went ahead and cut a couple threads off and did the flame test to see if it was genuine silk. And I was surprised to see that it seems to pass the test. So I do believe that it is true silk, maybe just not the best quality. And certainly NOT Worth the price tag they charge when it completely falls apart after only a month!!

I wasn't sure about purchasing this but I'm glad I did. It is super soft, the colors are vibrant and it doesn't warm up like cotton does so I don't wake up in the middle of night with a hot pillow that I have to flip over. You have to hand wash these which is no big deal, they dry really fast. I bought one to see if I liked it and after about 3 weeks use I purchased a second one.

i bought a silk pillowcase last year on amazon- it was about $35, but it is really beautiful. i came back recently to get another, saw this brand was less expensive for what looked like the same case, so took a chance. the one i just bought here is just as soft, just as well-made, and just as beautiful as the more expensive one i already have. and this one actually fits better, for my purposes. the old one i have fits quite tight on a standard pillow, making the feathers compress a bit and so the pillow becomes a bit 'harder' than i like. this one is cut a little larger than the old one, perfectly actually, and so does not squeeze the pillow. a very good purchase.

I bought two of the SLPBABY silk pillowcases, one in print and one solid color. I'm pleased with both of them. The colors are lovely, and I was delighted to find that silk pillowcases can come in a variety of prints instead of just solid colors. The hidden zipper is of high quality and looks like it will hold up well in the laundry. I've washed both pillowcases several times now, and they come out of the dryer in excellent condition. No problem getting the pillowcases on the pillows (standard size pillows with standard size cases.) They are also extremely comfortable to sleep on; very smooth and soothing.

If you are considering buying silk pillowcases, buy these. Don't waste your money on synthetic satin - get these - they are worth the little amount of money they cost. The plastic zipper that has held up to multiple washes and the silk is very soft. The zipper keeps the pillow inside the case, something I have had a problem with other silk/satin pillowcases that did not have some type of fold-over or zipper. The silk material itself is soft, has a great sheen, and feels cool to the touch but warms up quickly to your body heat but no hotter than that, so you will not overheat in summer. Washes beautifully in cold/delicate cycle and air dries quickly - so fast I usually just drape over the nearest door/cabinet/chair back and a short while later, the pillow case is dry and ready to use.When you first lay on them, you swear your head is going to slide right off the pillow, but rest assured, you do not. I purchased these because they do not cause my curly hair to turn into a frizzy nightmare. I do still get sleep-pressed hair, but that's only because I am so comfortable with the temperature of the pillow that I didn't move or flip the pillow to get a cooler side. These are great at reducing, almost eliminating, that night time acquired frizz.3 mo. update: Ok, I love these so much I ordered another two this morning for gifts to my curly-hair pals. Why wait so long to reorder? This morning someone complimented my curls and I realized I hadn't even brushed/fussed with my hair this morning - got up, got dressed, makeup, and out the door. I completely forgot to style. I shower at night because it's too cold to leave with wet hair.

Size is too long for a regular UK pillow, by about 25cm, therefore it doesn’t fit properly.Can only be gently hand washed in cold water, not at all practical for an item of bedding that should ideally be washed at 60 degrees.Due to the nature of mulberry silk, it shows up every tiny stain & looks unsightly.Can’t really notice any benefit from sleeping on it either, I’m pretty sure it’s just a scam.

This silk pillowcase feels very comfortable and soft when sleeping on it. This was an amazing experience since I was used to sleeping on cotton pillowcases. Love the pattern design that I chose. My hair also feels slightly better in the morning too. Would definitely buy again and would recommend this product to anyone looking for a comfortable and soft pillowcase.

I do like the way my hair stays as is and not all ruffled and messy when I get up. Also, helps to eliminate face lines in morning.
