Overall the game looks like hoot. Sadly the fun crystal ball was broken in shipping but it’s not vital to the game so I won’t bother to send it back. Seems pretty straight forward and as I am a professional psychic playing with other professional psychics we have our own crystal balls lol…this should prove to be a fun time!

Purchased for Halloween night games with family.Rules kinda strange and puzzling to follow. The cards well done but again hard to follow the card rules esp with kids. I thought the plastic fortune telling globe was so amateur and cheap, esp in this day of better game effects. It was so disappointing the globe is basically just a dead plastic piece as opposed to something that should light up and change as cards are used. What a mixed opportunity for this game to shine. Overall the game idea ( pick the real fortune teller) has great possibilities for the Halloween market but for heaven sakes, stream line the rules and make the fortune telling globe fun instead of a real dud.Despite so many faults we still had fun with the game idea by ignoring the rules and improvising

There are a lot of reviews that the plastic globe was dented and mine was too in a minor way so I opened up the plastic gently and pushed the dent back out. If you do this gently you wont damage the box. Overall the game is fun and we had a lot of laughs. As a Tarot lover I really appreciate this game and cards. :)

90% of the reason this game appealed to me was the appearance and presentation, and that’s completely shot. I honestly haven’t even played the game yet, but the fact it arrived all smashed and falling apart is upsetting. I’ve heard great things about the game itself though. Would have been 5 starts if it wasn’t destroyed on arrival. I’m taking it apart to see if I can salvage the crystals ball and glue it back together.DEFINITELY BUY THIS IN STORE IF YOU HAVE THE OPTION!

I love fortune teller games and was not sure how good this would be, but it's actually a pretty sophisticated gambling game which makes it perfect for the grown-ups' Halloween party!

Threw it in the trash. A smart way to get rid of the damaged product. Gotta respect that part.

Received this game as a Christmas present with the "crystal ball" banged up, but it really wasn't necessary (and personally, the condition of the box doesn't seem as a valid criticism as to how fun the game is, just as long as you have all the gaming cards/pieces). As long as you have a group of like minded people who are OK with a little roll playing and fun imaginations, you'll have a great time. There are two objects to the game - first, try to make as much money as you can regardless of whether you are a true psychic or not and the second, as the customer, try to figure out the fakes from the real psychics. As we got into the game playing, we had a lot of fun with the customer questions (i.e., will my pickle crop be successful this year? How long will my refrigerator last?). In our group, the psychics were communing with the spirits for answers and generally responded with cryptic statements in really bad foreign accents. Being a fake psychic was more fun than being the true psychic to see if you could fool the customer, which is not as hard you may think! Had a lot of fun with this game and will be breaking it out again at the next game night!
