Not a reliable HDMI switch!
It works some of the time, at other times it will stop displaying anything. When it stops working the only thing you can do is unplug all sources as well as the power cable, then plug them all back in. It's almost like it needs a full reset from time to time in order to work properly. Sometimes when plugging a source in to, for example, the HDMI 1 port, said item can't properly detect the display on the other end of the switch. For example sometimes when I plug in my Xbox One X to this switch, and the HDMI Out from the switch to a 4K HDR TV, my Xbox One X will only offer an old school resolution of 640x480. But power off the Xbox One X, power off this switch, unplug the HDMI cable from Port 1 (or whatever port it was plugged in to), on the switch, then plug everything back in and power back on and it works again. If you're looking for an HDMI switch that works all the time, then look some where else as this is not that switch.

Works Great!
This switcher works great! I had a different one that actually cost more money that didn’t work half as good as this one. I have a PlayStation 4, Apple TV, and an XBOX one hooked up to it and they all work great!

Not a new product
Was very excited to finally picking up a new system switch. I received my package today, comes in a white box with electrical tape around the edges to close it. When i opened it, the plastic holder was cracked, there are markings running along the bottom of the unit. (Picture posted), the AC adapter was just thrown in the box and it was missing the remote. Very disappointed in this purchase

Solid Product - Easily Replaced an Older Kinivio HDMI Switch
Solid and easy to install. I upgraded my TV to a new OLED with 4K Ultra and this switch was the perfect remedy to my older Kinivio switch which did NOT support 4K. Took about 5 minutes to hook up and the small profile and small lights were easy to minimize. Everything worked perfectly on first try and that includes 4K Oled TV, Cable Box, Blu-Ray DVD player and XBox 360. Highly recommended.

Terrible quality of a product
The remote of this broke right away and I needed to get a refund because of that. I couldn’t even get the unit to turn on or work properly. I can’t recommend this product to anyone. Avoid this product at all costs. There are better HDMI switchers out there then this one.

This actually works
I have tried a few different 4k HDR HDCP2.2 HDMI switches... none of them worked as expected... problems like flickering screen, no signals and etc. This SMARTOOO one looks just like the others but it is actually working. I have PS4 Pro, Nintendo Switch and a laptop PC connect to the HDMI switch and output to my KS8000 4k TV. Everything worked fine, PS4 Pro can display 4k HDR content with no issue. BTW, it looks like when you press and hold the switch button on the unit, it turns off the auto switch feature which everyone hates. I just wish some TV brands can make a HDMI switch that work flawlessly with their TVs... It was not a fun experience to find a working HDMI switch on Amazon

SMARTOOO 23051: Great device with a couple minor niggles. BUT IT WORKS!!!
My setup consists of a 2017 LG OLED, Sky Q, Xbox One X, UHD Apple TV 4K, Chromecast Ultra and a LG SJ9 Soundbar. I also plan in the near future to add a dedicated UHD Blu-Ray player.I had the Sky box, Apple TV and Chromecast plugged directly into the OLED TV, and the Xbox into the soundbar, which was connected to the ARC port on the TV, all using "High Speed, Premium Certified HDMI cables". Although the Xbox worked flawlessly, all my other devices suffered from severe audio delay.I initially purchased the Smartooo 23051 apprehensively due to the fact it clearly states in the product description that this HDMI Switch "IS NOT SUPPORTED WITH SOUNDBARS". However, as a switch is basically a unit to directly pass through a HDMI signal with the ability to sitch between the connected devices, I thought I'd give it a go. Setup was extremely easy, I simply connected all my devices into the switch, connected the switch HDMI out into the SJ9 Soundbar HDMI in, and the Soundbar into the ARC port of my TV (for use with built in internal apps), connected the supplied power adaptor, and BINGO, everything works as it should!!Sky Q outputs UHD 2160p/10bit with Dolby Atmos, Xbox One X output 4k/HDR with bitstream audio including Dolby Atmos, Apple TV 4k outputs 4k Dolby Vision @60hz and 4:2:0 (will not do 4k/60hz @4:4:4 as expected) and Chromecast Ultra outputs UHD with HDR & Dolby Vision. As far as passing a full 18gbps bandwidth signal for todays A/V requirements, this little beauty does it perfectly.I have however had to knock one star off for minor niggles. It says it supports CEC, but as usual this is finicky at best. On occasions, if I switch a device on, it may auto switch to the newly powered device, but it is spontaneous on whether it does or not and more often than not it doesn't. A proper, fully working auto switch feature would make this unit almost perfect. Another minor niggle is the time it takes to switch connections. When using the remote, if I switch between already powered on devices, the time it takes for the picture to appear on screen can take 5 seconds or more. I know 5 seconds isn't a big deal in the grand scheme of things, but I am sure it could be faster. And finally, once or twice, when switching sources, I have had audio dropouts. A power down and power fixes this immediately but again, it;s a niggle.Ultimately, this little thing does what it says on the tin, and then some. I was just about to pull the trigger on purchasing and importing either a Sewell Switchdeck or Monoprice Blackbird Pro from the States before I found this. Either of those would be at least double the price with shipping and import costs, so in my opinion, for the price you will not find better than the Smartooo 4k switch!

Finally a great splitter....well very nearly.....
Finally found a proper HDMI 4k splitter.....well, nearly...This works nearly every bit of my 4k equipment, the one piece it doesn’t and being a games a reviewer for over 20 years, feel people need to know as it’s a minefield out there. And that is the new Xbox One X, needs a dedicated straight line into your TV, do not put in a splitter.I’m really happy with this,as described works my PS4 Pro, Switch, Sky, and a Blu-ray 4k player. So just be aware doesn’t work with the X on my LG TV.,but is great for everything else.

Perfect ish
Finally I’ve found a switch that works! I’ve tried many but the cheaper ones won’t work properly with my PS4 Pro, Apple TV4K and sky Q 4K this works perfectly PS4 outputs on max setting the cheaper ones limit it’s output to 1080p it’s simple just connect your devices and one HDMI out to the TV and sorted it does require its own power some of the others get the power from HDMI this does light up with just HDMI but no picture if it’s not plugged in, I have had a few video loss moments from my PS4 when playing 4K HDR but only once so hopefully this was just a glitch

good HDR 4k hdmi switch
I've got a SMARTOO 23051 - 5 port version, which means 5 HDMI in and 1 HDMI out to the TV.I've got the hdmi switch connected to a LG B6 and it seems to work just fine. The only tip I have is test your hdmi cables. I've tried some hdmi cables labelled for hdmi 2.0, but they didn't work with the switch. If you have issues, try other hdmi cables first, or just swap them between inputs! The hdmi switch is connected to:- nintendo switch, no issues going from 4k to the switch's 1080p, also automatically switches to the switch when it turns on- ps4 - HDR @ 4k@4:4:4 works just fine and also auto switches. I had to disable the "turn automatically the tv on" because it was interfering with the operation. every time I switched another input, when selecting the switch's input it would turn the ps4 automatically and switch to it.- xbox one S - this is mainly used for bluetooth playback, 4k HDR blurays work perfect and dts output to the tv also work ok. the xbox does not auto switch automatically for some reason, but we can manually change to it.- apple tv - 1080p works just fine and auto switches to the correct input when the atv turns on.Also, the ps4 seems to be enough to power the switch, however I've got it connected with the provided ac adapter just to be sure.Although I haven't fully tested, it seems CEC doesn't passthrough. I seem to recall the Apple TV worked with CEC connected directly to the tv, but now it doesn't.I also have a 7meter amazon basics hdmi cable connected to my pc (4k@60fps resolution), but the switch doesn't seem to like that - maybe the power outputted by the pc is not enough? Also when the pc turned on, it would always trigger the switch to automatically swap inputs, so I've connected the pc directly to the TV and did not do further tests.
