Not easy to install when it is your first time. With some determination and lots of replays of YouTube tutorials, it was a success. I am not a techy person. Needed to diy to save money, so I followed instructions, learned the solder gun, replaced the dc port, and now my laptop is charging. Spent 5 hours on and off on this project but it was well worth the savings and a good mind exercise to fixing things on your own.

I bought this to fix the power connector on my daughters Asus Laptop. After taking it apart and getting it down to the board I was able to swap it out with a simple soldering iron. Once put back together it has worked like a charm and still is 2 years later. This is a great quality part and I recommend it to anyone who needs it to fix there computer. :)

Replaced the power jack on my wife’s Asus K53E laptop. Getting the old one off was harder then the new one on. But once done, the new jack powers the battery correctly and doesn’t disconnect if the power cable is moved.

Was quite the PITA to install, but that has nothing to do with the quality of the item. Once I got it seated the power jack worked as expected. Turned a laptop that was essentially unuseable into a speedy workstation again.

I haven't had time to install it but it is an exact replica of the one already in there. It should do the job just fine
