I have a Craftsman drill press and the switch broke....Checked on line and found the switch at "Sears PartsDirect"...It was obsolete, but they had an alternate part that would work....Looking at it, it looked like the switch on my Craftsman Band saw so I tried swapping it and it worked on the Drill press.....After a month I decided to get that switch so both my tools would be operational......"No longer available".......Oh drats! Kept searching online for alternatives.....and found this switch.....Worked for both the Drill press and the Band saw.....One minor detail; On the Band saw, you will need to cut down the upper edge of the switch to clear the plastic mounting bracket....On the original, there is approx' 1/8" of overlap, while on this switch it has approx' 3/16"...Just leave enough to hold it from falling thru the bracket....This switch is so inexpensive, I am buying a spare! Oh yeah, the wiring follows the pattern on the back- just pay attention when removing and reinstalling.

I needed a new switch for my Delta drill press model 11-990 and read some reviews. This switch worked perfectly and installed in a flash. Drill press is back up and running and the switch feels fairly solid compared to the original.

I got this to replace a broken switch on my JET mini lathe "1014", it is the same witch, the same size, connectors it was plug and play. It took about 5 minutes to install. After being told by "JET" Tool Corp. they don't make that switch any more I found this one for a very good price and fit. I couldn't be happier. PERFECT A+

switch is sturdy and function perfectly. Be sure the item will fit your application, depth and room to connect the wires correctly to the switch. For my application the fit was almost perfect, I only had to modify the opening less than a mm.

I used this on an older 3 hp Craftsman table saw. Perfect fit but I was concerned as original switch only had 2 connections and this had 4. I simply connected on the same side as original switch and it worked perfect. I would recommend this switch.

The old toggle broke. I suspect the cold temperatures combined with the vibration was too much. Hopefully this one is made from slightly more pliable plastic.
