One of the better pearl purchases to date. Bright, beautiful colors. Nice shape, size and quality. Worth the cost for sure. Fun to open. I would buy again!

Out of this pack of 50 pearls 20 of the pearls were partially to half 2 different colors. Some were pink and blue some were white and blue or green and pink , and one pearl was completely flat on the side so it was only halfway round. Really disappointing BEWARE

My daughter and I watched quite a few oyster shucking videos on Youtube before we purchased this item. Each oyster does actually have 10 pearls inside! We were so excited to see what colors we got. It was like Christmas morning. We even bought a caliper for my daughter to measure the size of each pearl. The quality of the pearls isn't perfect, but it is pretty good! Now we have to figure out how to make jewelry out of them. Definitely a fun summer project to do with an older kid.

WOW, I have enjoyed getting many of these! I would recommend getting these shells with the 10 colorful pearls inside. Price is better, and you only have to open 1 shell, for 10 pearls. I did not notice any smell, but I did use plastic gloves to open them. I felt there was a substance, on the shell, that may irritate the skin on the hands. The 5 shells were easily opened with scissors. There was a nice selection of different colored pearls. I believe these "oysters" are "helped" getting their pearls and the colors, but I still love them and even bought some spiral pearl cages, to display some of them. Amazon has many cages, too. HAVE FUN--HAVE A "PEARL PARTY", with friends!

The colors are not as pictured. In the pictures they look mostly pastel or bright colors. I got mostly dark colors. I got 19 browns alone. Was very disappointed as I was looking for light or bright colors. Also some of the pearls are much smaller than indicated. (I do have a pearl measuring instrument). Also be prepared for some rice pearls. Not just not quite round but very oval. They are still pretty but are not close to round.

These were so much fun to open! They are a great quality, little to no blemishes and round. They vary in size but there are some large pearls inside and an array of colors. I was pleasantly surprised and will absolutely do business with this company again and again! I ordered from multiple distributors and these were of the best quality!

The pearls (if they are real, looks like little glass beads with flaws) were definitely not grown in the oyster shell. They were placed inside, and the oyster sealed shut.

Most of these pearls were BEYOND tiny. 3-4 were a decent size.
