Camera is an outstanding value.
I have 3 LNB9232S in my Lorex system and they have performed outstandingly. The visual quality of 4k makes it worth the extra money over the lower resolution. I would caution to make sure your NVR can handle the bandwidth of a 4k camera. If the NVR is not designed for the stream, it could cause you issues. I want to also add the MIC is outstanding. I can hear a door lock click from about 30 feet away as plain as day. I have included a picture to show it is capable of 4k@30fps.

Disappointment in Audio Quality
The camera has good 4K resolution and good color night vision; both gobbling up a lot of bandwidth. The main reason I bought five of these is for the audio listen in facility for my building. The audio quality is horribly bad even though I have a very fast fibreoptic broadband internet plan. I have Ring Video Door bells and Samsung HD SmartCam in the same place, both of which are a lot better than this very expensive LOREX cameras though both Samsung HD SmartCam and Ring Video Door Bells work on WiFI while LOREX works by CAT6 cable!! So if you are looking for good audio quality to listen in, you will be terribly disappointed as I am.

Can't actually do 4K 30FPS.
It can't actually do 4K at 30FPS. It only goes up to 25 FPS. After contacting customer service of Lorex and going back and forth of what the model number was, and what it wouldn't do (eg 4k 30FPS) they confirmed this model can only do up to 25FPS. I have attached an image of what I see in the UI when trying to set the FPS.

Bad software, incompatible with Synology, max bitrate too low for 4K/30fps
Wanted for 4K,30fps. Incompatible with my Synology NAS even via onvif. Lorex also has zero firmware updates available since this camera’s release Nov 2018, 1.5 years later. None of the Lorex desktop apps for Mac worked nor was a browser plug-in available for using the web interfere. The lorex cloud mobile app for iOS did work. Biggest problem with this turd is that it’s limited to 8192kbbs stream bitrate. Even with h265, there is no point attempting 4K/30fps, All detail is lost in compression blur.Ps, the amcrest ip8m-2597 is the exact same camera for less money. Unfortunately it too is not supported by Synology either but other amcrest cameras are..
