Mens Slim Joggers Tapered Sweatpants

Love these pants. Wanted to write a review mostly to let others know about sizing. I am 5'8" and weigh 154# and took a chance on the large. Mainly because I wanted room and they list them as slim fit. I bought a second pair they feel so nice. I have done squats and sit up, general weight training, walks. The waistband is very wide, providing much appreciated comfort in the waist. Admittedly they are a bit long, but because they are tapered and snug on the calves and ankles that is no concern for me. I washed them once and dried them on high heat and that took some of the length out of them, which was my intent.

I like that these ARE LONG ENOUGH! I'm 6'3" and always have a hard time finding sweats that don't just come up to my calfs. These are great in every way -- and I have half a dozen different brands in my closet. Love the fabric -- cotton blend makes them soft, matt (not shiney), breathable and comfortable for all day. I work at home and got several pairs of these and wear them all day and into the night. Weight of fabric is great -- not too thin, not too thick or bulky. Fit -- love the fit -- every flattering. snug on the calfs and butt, loose in the crotch so room for your business without an embarrassing bulge if you leave the house in these. The wife gabs my ass when I wear these which she never does when I'm in baggy sweats. Love the details -- the form fitting panel construction, sturdy zippers on pockets -- solid stitching. I have gone through A LOT of different sweats/joggers since working at home past 3 years and keep coming back to these. I am seriously picky about sh!t and these pass all my OCD checkboxes.

5'11", 170lb, 34" waist, 32" inseam, slim/athletic build, ordered the Medium. Fit is slimmer than most joggers but not quite leggings tight depending on leg shape/muscle size. The material has almost no stretch to it, so fit will be tricky if you don't like it too tight. Good linear taper without the parachute pants look of some joggers. Length is a touch long on me compared to most joggers. Waist is true to size and comfy with a wide elastic that doesn't dig into your gut. Drawstring will definitely fall out in the wash at some point. Fabric touch isn't terry soft but isn't poly rough either. Fabric is thin like a thick t-shirt and feels a bit cheap. Not sure how it'll hold up to repeated washings. But no construction issues, seams all look well finished. The biggest problem area with fit is the cuff area. The cuff length is just half the length as shown in pictures. The material above the cuff is a bit looser than the cuff so there's already some ballooning of material above the cuff. If you have shorter legs or wear high tops, it's going to cause some weird mushrooming? rather than a nice slouch if that makes any sense. Pockets have zippers which are nice for security but pocket placement is on the hip/side so may be an issue with comfort or looks. Pocket depth is good enough for a wallet/regular sized phone. XL phones may not fit. No back pocket. EDIT (3/31/23): After wearing these for a couple of weeks and testing some other joggers from Amazon that look similar, I'm upping my review to 4 stars. These are the comfiest of the ones I've tried. They did shrink slightly in the wash so now it's pretty much leggings tight at the calves.

IF you are tall, have no fear. super long! I work in special ed, and want something that can move and stretch,but still be professional enough for a teacher to wear. This tows the line No belt loops. and the side pockets are noticeable But i believe i have found the pant that meets my needs. And while i dont know what my dutch rear looks like in them. I sure feel in shape wearing these. Great fit for someone with developed quads and calves.

Before purchasing these sweats I read the reviews, and most of the negative comments centered around poor fit on the baggy side. I would have normally purchased a medium, but given the comments, I opted for a slim. I must say, this is the first chic pair of sweats I've ever purchased, so it took me awhile to get comfortable with the overall style of the sweats. For me, they are too dressy or stylish to be considered sweat pants, but I'm 67 and old school. The slim size for me was perfect, they fit me well, and I must say, I look pretty good in them. The weave is a tight weave, so I will only be wearing them during the winter, not on hot days. The quality is very good, and I would recommend them, but apparently, you might consider going a size smaller than what you would normally order on line.

The dimensions listed are very wrong, and seem to come from conversion issues. They really are slim fit, not just tapered fit, and aren't shaped like the model pictures show (unless the model pictures have been squashed vertically). My hips and rear are proportionally pretty close to the model pictures relative to the length of my legs, maybe a little larger. I normally wear pants with a 30-31" waist and a 30" inseam. For reference, a 30" inseam is about a 40-41" overall length for most mens' pants (waist to heel). Based on the description of this product, I fit pretty well into the Medium category. I got a Medium, but when I tried them on the length was pretty long. They have a 1" elastic band around the ankle that's designed to reach the ankle right above gym shoes, as can be expected from jogger-style pants. With the waist hiked as high up as the crotch would allow, beyond uncomfortable, I still had a full 2 inches of excess length. If that were all I'd be fine, a solid 3-4 inches of excess length could be dealt with, but when worn in the normal waist position, let alone if hiked up higher, the thighs, hips, and butt were like light compression clothing that formed perfectly without stretching. The dimensions on the hips were obviously listed larger than reality while the length was listed smaller than reality. If you're looking for something that fits perfectly, you need to be a 30-31" waist and a 36-38" inseam. The material these were made from was very good though, it's like a heavy jersey material with some spandex in it. The seams are a flattering shape that curves to highlight muscular thighs and calves if you've got them, and are a double-lock seam that won't chafe. The "side" pockets are on the front of the thighs, which avoids giving you the extra-wide hip look.

Ya know, when they first arrived and I took them out of the package? At first glance, I wasn't impressed. Then I put them on and .... OOOOoooooooooo! They feel AWESOME and they look terrific! I LOVE THESE PANTS so much I just ordered another pair in black. They're comfortable! They're snug (but not TOO snug). The cloth feels wonderful! The pockets are a decent size (pocket holds my 6" x 3" cell phone and zippers up with no problem). I ordered a medium and the length is absolutely perfect WHICH is a bit odd because I'm a short woman (5 foot 3). Admittedly, I have long legs but usually, a men's medium is a bit long on me. I'm glad they're not BUT... If you're a tall person? You might want to be cautious about what size you order. I washed them in cold water and dried them with the setting on medium with no problems. FYI: It does say to line dry these pants. I just know myself too well. Sooner or later they're going to get put in the dryer. I figured I might as well find out now what that's going to mean in terms of size. I saw little to no shrinkage. I'm very pleased with my purchase!
