7th Heaven: Season 6

I love this tv series. I uesd to watch it with my family when I was young .

I have watched the show for years...I love it and could not imagine not having it. 7th Heaven offered me so much hope and inspiration. I would love love to have 11 seasons on DVD--with the original music of course, but it seems as though that has edited out. Either way, I am so very happy that the possibility of having all 11 seasons seems to be more attainable now than it did a few years ago. In my opinion, this is the best show that has been in TV and I have a lot of favorite shows--but nothing will EVER take the place of 7th Heaven. If I am lucky enough to marry someday, I am doing my best to make my home a Heaven on Earth. Great show...great cast. Sadly missed...I would love to meet the primary stars someday--especially Catherine Hicks and Stephen Collins...Christy in KY 7th fan

I always loved the 7th Heaven Series. So when I saw that the DVDs were available for purchase I went ahead and started my collection. I've only got three more seasons to buy, but meanwhile I am enjoying all the episodes. I know the recent years haven't been kind to Stephen Collins, and that's where many people tend to write off the series. But I don't follow the life of any actor or actress for what it's worth.

Every season of 7th Heaven impresses me in one way or another. Every episode has a beautiful moral message that leaves the viewer contemplating events in their own life and striving to make the best out of bad situations. That's what this show does for me. It encourages me to be a better person and leaves me feeling I'm not alone in wanting to do what's right when those around me just seem to thrive on self-indulgence and ignorance! 7th Heaven sheds a little light on viewers lives and I am so thankful for that. That's enough of my preaching (pun intended). If you've ever enjoyed an episode of 7th Heaven you'll have to get this season, as well. It is well-worth your time :-)10/10.

I purchased all 11 Seasons of 7th Heaven for my adolescent daughter. It was so hard to find decent TV programming that dealt with real life issues and always ended with a positive message. The 7th Heaven Seasons delivered that for my daughter. Incidentally, we have watched season 1 thru 11 together, if she had questions, I could pause the DVD, address her concerns to make sure she was fully grasping the storyline and message in the episode. Such a wonderful bonding experience for me and my only daughter. Memories were made that will be cherished forever. Thank you CBS, Aaron Spelling (RIP) and the cast and crew of this wonderful show you should be so proud of helping to create.

I love 7th heaven. Have since it first aired on tv in 98. I have the complete set.

The cast has done it again - handling tough issues, especially the ending one of the marriage. I learn so much from each of these seasons - how to parent, when to see that I am wrong, how to be a good spouse, and so much more. It's so nice to see TV that's wholesome and that you can let your kids watch with you (most of them). Thanks to the producers for thinking up some great story lines and casting the actors so well. Buy this one! You won't be sorry!

Arrived fast, and as described

Fantastic season

Konservativ, bieder, ernst, humorvoll, dramatisch, traurig - so in etwa kann die Serie um die "himmlische Familie" beschreiben.Konservativ, bieder... alles was nicht der Norm entspricht ist schlecht. So gibt sich die Familie Camden gerne - was wiederum der Mehrheit der amerikanischen Bevölkerung entspricht (bzw, sich gerne so gibt).Aber wie wird es in den ersten Folgen genannt?: "Die Welt da draussen ist nicht wie die der Familie Camden". Ist die Serie deshalb schlecht? Nein. Denn dank toller Schauspieler und eben diese "Konservativität" ergeben sich teils skurille Situationen und überaus humorvolle aber auch traurig, tragische Momente.Nach der eher schwachen und eher nervigen (Gerangel um Mary) fünften Staffel wird die 6. Staffel wieder besser und es gibt wieder ein paar Höhepunkt zu verzeichnen.Episode 2 "Teased" mit Special Guest Morgan Fairchild geht es unter anderem darum, wegen Vorurteile jemand schlecht zu machen und das "Opfer" dazu bringt ein Attentat zu begehen. Ein Schüler wird nämlich von seinen Mitschülern gehänselt, was ihn dazu bringt, sich an ihnen rächen zu wollen. - Nicht nur der "Täter" allein trägt die Schuld, sondern oftmals auch deren Umfeld - Eine Episode die zum Nachdenken anregt.Episode 9: "Lost" : Joy ruft Robbie an, dass er vorbeikommen soll, er jedoch aber nicht wirklich möchte. Auf dem Weg zu Ihr greift er einen herrenlosen Hund am Strassenrand auf. Es stellt sich heraus, dass der Hund Joy's vermissten Bruder gehört - der wohl Opfer einer Kindes-Entführung wurde.Besonderheit dieser Episode: während des Abspanns laufen während ca. 2 Minuten Bilder bzw, realen (!!!) Vermissten-Anzeigen von Kindern und Jugendlichen.Im Verlauf der Staffel kehrt Mary nach Glen Oak zurück trifft auf die Brüder Ben und Kevin Kinkirk (auch im realen Leben Brüder: George und Geoff Stults - welche sich jedoch mehr schlecht als recht im TV/Film Business behaupten).Es gibt aber nicht nur Heiterkeit. Als die 6. Staffel in den USA startete, wurde die reale Welt nur wenige Wochen zuvor mit dem Anschlag in New York überschattet (sämlich Drehbücher wurden während den Dreharbeiten umgeschrieben).Ruthie, die für gewöhnlich über alles den Ueberblick behält was Sache Beziehungs und Liebeskiste angeht, bekommt es nicht nur mit ihrer alten Lehrerin zu tun, sondern auch mit einer gleichaltrigen Schülerin, die Muslimin ist und welcher sie gerne helfen möchte.Aber es gibt nebst ernsten auch einen sau-komischen Kultur und Religions-Clash: Die Familie Camden trifft auf die jüdische Familie Glass (grandios!!!!: Richard Lewis und Laraine Newman) welche wir in den folgenden Staffel noch öfters begegnen werden.Weitere Special Guests im Laufe der Staffel: Ernest Borgnine (Oscar-/Golden Globe Gewinner 1956 für "Marty"), Brenda Strong, sowie wiederkehrend Peter Graves ("Mission Impossible"), Beverly Garland (sci-fi Ikone der 50er Jahre).P.S: Regisseur Tony Mordente spielte übrigens 1960 in "WEST SIDE STORY" mit.FAZIT: tolle Serie die nach der eher schwachen 5. Staffel wieder überzeugt und mit der ganzen Familie angeschaut werden kann.DIE DVD:BILDQUALIT: sehr gutTON: englisch und DeutschUNTERTITEL: leider keineBONUS-MATERIAL: nichts, hier hätte man sich gerne Interviews mit den Darsteller oder Audio-Kommentare gewüscht, aber wie so üblich von Serien von Aaron Spelling - nichts vorhanden -WENDECOVER: JA
