So far, so good. We have two big dogs. The dogs slipped around on it a bit at first (fabric is durable but slick), but once they figured out it was easier to lay down than to stand or sit, they seemed cool with it. I might put a blanket back there so they don't slip as much. The fact that you can slip the straps over the front seat headrests to form a hammock has been very useful. Keeps the dogs from trying to sneak up front, catches them when they stumble around, and keeps groceries from sliding onto the floor when you put on the break. Plus, when a person needs to get in, you can just slip the front strap right off. Fits perfectly in our new truck - a Toyota Tacoma - and so far it has kept the back seat safe from any messes. We even gave a dirty, wet stray dog we found on a backcountry road a ride back home, and the backseat was totally protected. This could also be useful for people with messy little kids.

What a great product. This product is both functional and economical.I have a Ford Expedition EL and this covered my entire cargo area behind the third seat. Easy to use. Simply slip the loops over the headrest and tighten for a secure fit. It not only protects the cargo area, but covers the fabric on the back of the seats keeping the entire area pet hair and mud free.No it does not have a "non-slip" backing, but it stays easily in place.Easy to install, easy to remove and washable.I highly recommend this product. I bought this for a friend who has a Great Dane. She says she uses it but it doesn't stay in place. The dog is huge however so that might account for her problem. Apparently the attachment to the front seat cannot support the dog but it does cover the back seat.

I do like this seat cover but it isn't quite wide enough for my Nissan Maxima and doesn't completely cover the seat and back portion. Because I want them to have more cushioning and comfort lying down, I put a thick comforter folded over on top of the dog's seat cover. I have leather seats in the car and to my surprise both the dog's car seat cover and the comforter stay in place and don't slip around. I don't worry anymore about getting doggie hairs and dirt all over the seats. I wish I had tried a car seat cover for dogs years ago as it would have saved me a lot of time and frustration cleaning up after them.

At first we really loved the car seat cover, however within the first few months two of the plastic size adjusters broke. We were really disappointment since our dogs loved the canopy function (and we did too, since it kept them in the backseat), but now thats no longer an option. We have another car seat cover for our other car and even though it was a bit more expensive it has lasted 4+ years. Our next purchase will be with that brand.

Does not work. Slides around on the seat if the dog moves at all (I have a pokey senior citizen dog who travels extremely well.) including when he gets in, leaving the seat vulnerable to damage. Does not keep dog in the backseat. The dog even seems miffed by the seat cover and will not lay down and sleep the whole ride anymore like he normally does, because he is sliding around while I take the slightest curve in the road at a low speed. It doesn't work for me and I don't expect it to work well for the average- normal energy dog. It installed easily...however the anchors didn't do much good, and I have no idea what is going on with the pocket. Customer service was excellent.

just got my seat cover in the mail and its NOT what I was expecting. Feels very cheap and DOES NOT have a no-slip backing. So what your paying for is a heavy canvas with a cheap lining on the back side. There is a similar product that costs a bit more I would have bought that knowing what I know now.

Our dog, Sage, says it's great to be able to ride in the back seat of the car with this cover, so that she doesn't put holes in the seat and get it really dirty. She says that she can still get into the front seat, even when it's set up as a hammock, much to the chagrin of her human mommy, who does not have the front seats covered. I love that it is machine washable.
