Manuka honey is different than American honey, it's much thicker and has a little stronger taste. It is delicious and great in smoothies.

We live the product. Great quality and price

This is a pricey product. That given, the taste, texture and quality are superior to similar New Zealand UMF rated honey we have tried. After sampling several we decided to go with a UMF of 5 vs.10 on the idea that with the less expensive 5 UMF honey we would be able to enjoy it more often, in greater quantity and to a greater positive health benefit. As for the reputed health benefits I cannot say with certainty, although this has much to do with my reasoning in justifying my spending for this product. All that aside, as a honey, it is very good.

This is very good honey! The only reason I gave it one less star is because the shipping time was over 4 weeks, from December 17 - January 19! That is an unreasonable time frame!
