Not cheap, but worth the price. We've stopped buying European bay leaves that are small and lack the flavour that these have.

I have tried to buy tej patta locally but so glad I couldn’t find them. The size and quality of these leaves are astounding, they look freshly picked and the aroma and flavour is out of this world! Just made a chicken bhuna from scratch and it’s such an authentic flavour only somehow even better. I will definitely order from you again. Thank you very much.

An important consideration when using bay leaves is that they are whole and not broken! there is nothing worse than finding a piece of leaf floating around in your food half way through a meal! (just being over sarcastically critical) I am saying that all the leaves in the package were all complete and not mashed up through transit or handling, they were perfectly dried and in one piece. (excellent) making it so easy to remove from the finished dish before serving. Rani has done it again. Good service good price and good product.

These are amazing value - authentic Indian bay leaves. I add them to anything that requires a bay leaf, not just Indian food. Great tasting - will buy these again without hesitation.

I've had some problems trying to buy Indian bay on the internet - either stuff advertised as Indian bay which turned out to be Mediterranean (completely different genus / flavour profile) or so old as to be useless. These leaves are the real deal - definitely Tej Patta, massive unbroken leaves, wonderfully aromatic and with a best before date of 09/2022. So presumably they haven't been sitting in a warehouse for years. A bit pricey perhaps, but worth it for the quality IMO.

I honestly don’t even want to write this review because I want to keep them all to myself, they’re that good! The Rani Bay Leaf (Leaves) Whole Spice Hand Selected are absolutely beautiful. The leaves are huge, some are literally the size of my hand (as you can see in photo) and not a single one arrived broken or crushed. You can tell they were carefully selected and packaged. The aroma is amazing. As soon as you open the bag, you can smell how fresh and flavorful they are. I use them in soups, especially in my homemade chicken broth, stews and ideas are endless they add such a rich, deep flavor. For the price and the quantity you get, it’s incredible value. I even shared some with my mom and sister (which tells you how impressed I was!).

I didn’t cook with these, I used them for other purposes 🪄, but these leaves are STUNNING. Excellent. No imperfections. They are huge, and wonderful quality bay leaves. And I love the price I paid. Wow! Highly recommend.

These bay leaves are beautiful and large and they burn crisp and wonderful. This was worth every penny and I will purchase again from this company. What I loved is that the bay leaves were large and they stayed whole in the bag I did not receive a bag full of crushed bay leaves like other companies do so I am very pleased and I will recommend it and I will purchase again
