is this knife full tang?

This knife is not full-tang in the classic sense...you cannot see the edge of the tang at the bottom of the handle. However, I get the impression that it extedns through most of the handle and is quite sturdy.

Where are these manufactured?

Founder and owner David Bloch debuted Outdoor Edge's first product, the Game Skinner—an ulu style skinning knife—at the SHOT Show in Las Vegas in January 1988. Bloch created the knife as his senior design project while attending the Colorado School of Mines. After graduating with an engineering degree in 1986, Bloch refined the design, sought out a manufacturing facility in Japan and began production. From its humble beginnings as a one-man show with four prototype samples, Bloch’s company, Outdoor Edge, has grown significantly in the past thirty years. Currently, the company has 24 employees and offers more than 120 products. Originally based in Boulder, Colorado, the company moved to a larger facility in Denver in 2010.

We recommend that you you either send the knife to Outdoor Edge for a free sharpening and tune, or take it into a knife shop to have a pro sharpen it. Jeff
