Looks like 3 to me. It says 6-Pack and only shows 6 socks, so that means 3 pairs. No where do they mention the word 'pair' either. It does state ($3/Count), so that's $3 per sock.

do they leave black lint on your feet?

It all depends on how much your feet sweat and how your feet move. I have flat feet and when I walk my feet move a little side to side creating more lint. Different for everyone.
