Is the rod strong enough to remove jammed pellets?

Never had to clear a jammed pellet, but the rod is well constructed brass. The whole kit is appears to be made with high quality materials, which you usually do not get in low cost cleaning kits. It is a good bargain in my opinion.

What solvent should I use to clean the barrel? Can I use rubbing alcohol?

Use a standard barrel cleaning solvent.

will this product clean a real .22 rifle?

Probably, the brushes & pads that screw into the rod are for .177 caliber. They will be a loose fit in a 22 caliber. You can still clean a 22 but you will have to use more patches.

Has anyone tried using this on a .25 benjamin armada or maurader? the manual says don’t clean it. almost everyone else says clean it.

This isn't the best quality cleaning kit. The rods are very likely to bend with very little pressure. I was not at all pleased with mine.
