I was worried about the reviews of the paint melting on the wax holder but they changed the dish to an unpainted glass dish. I’ve had it on all day and love it so much! The bulb gives off a warm cozy light and the farmhouse look is just perfect!

FAILS THE ONE JOB IT HAS --- MELT THE WAX MELT!!! The Second One of these I purchased (dummy me!!!) The first one had the "metal" bowl, the glass inside was pressed up against one side of the outer metal frame, and only the very center of the bowl was melted wax, around that area the wax was not fully melted. Contacted Candle Warmers Etc, and received a poor response. Told to just rotate the inside glass around (no matter how you rotated the glass, it was still pressed up against the metal frame on the one side. Regarding not fully melting the wax (even after being on for 4 HOURS!!!), Candle Warmers customer service advised it's probable a bad bulb -- and sent me a link TO BUY a new bulb from them ($4.95 plus $5 or $6 shipping fee). This warmer was 2 days old --- Candle Warmers should have apologized for the bad bulb, and sent me a complimentary new bulb (after I submitted proof of purchase and date to them). I really like how this warmer looked w the chicken wire frame, had some Amazon Bonus Points, so I purchased another one, same style -- though they replaced the metal bowl (complaints about paint bubbling up) with a glass bowl. Figured it would work great -- NOPE. Sucked more than the first one. After having on for 2 hours, 75% of the wax melt was still solid. The glass bowl was only luke warm, not hot.....no wonder it wasn't melting the wax. And these have a MORE POWERFUL 40W bulb. Making matters worse, with the glass bowl, wax residue gets up high on the inside sides of the glass bowl, next to impossible to remove. A TOTAL FAILURE -- RETURNING TO AMAZON I see all these reviews, stating "HOW CUTE" the warmer is --- uh, the NUMBER ONE PURPOSE of the warmer is TOO MELT WAX MELTS, not to win a "Cuteness Contest". Yes, you want a warmer, especially one this size (8-inches tall) to look nice, blend in well with whatever room you want to use in -- but frankly, I could give up CUTE for a warmer THAT MELTS THE WAX!!! Others have complained about the quality of the Candle Warmer Etc warmers quality --- bulbs that are mounted crooked, not melting the wax, metal paint bubbling up -- uh, all of these are MADE IN CHINA, go figure about the quality! My suggestion to Candle Warmers Etc and whatever factory they have making them --- use a few of them to test how they work -- ok, you came up with a nice looking design, but is the placement of the bulb in the right place, does the type of bulb (NP3 Vintage Edison) work well with a warmer (yes, the vintage bulb look like nice), but even at 40W it doesn't distribute a "wide enough" heating effect on the above bowl. IF UNDER TESTING THEY DON'T MELT THE WAX - GO BACK TO THE DESIGN DRAWING BOARD --- AND QUIT WASTING YOUR CUSTOMERS TIME AND $$$
