Praying Through the Bible in One Year

I've read many of Tricia Goyer's books; especially her fiction novels, and though there some I prefer over others, I've never been disappointed. So when I saw this--had to have it! It's a lovely book, inside and out; a partner to my Bible. As a fan of pretty things, I admit to being immediately attracted to the cover. But, like people, it's the inside that counts. The author has made reading the Bible a deeper experience with daily prayers she offers on the themes, and a place to write our own. Another nice thing: she's added a sort of "forgiving" space--to reflect on events of the past week, how God has moved in our lives, and to catch up with our reading. It's connecting with Jesus!

I am genuinely excited to get into this devotional book. I think it will be helpful in my prayer life

It's for a year but I love that it's not dated daily. Which means you can give it as a gift any time.

Love this ! it's portable , the layout is beautiful and it's easy to follow !When you are done you will have a wonderful overview of the bible with prayers to go with evry chapter !

The layout of this book is very easy to follow. Can be used by an individual or even a small study group.

The author's prayers for the daily reading was beautifully expressed. I thought the idea of writing your own prayer from the reading was a unique way to apply the Biblical content.

Not worth it ~ don't buy it.

Thoughtful passages and segments that allowed for catching up on the weekends. Enabled reading and research throughout the year. Completed goal with just a two week gap.
