I have been using it for a few years - great color, good grey coverage. I get compliments on my hair at least once a week. Easy to use, doesn't seem to damage hair (dark ruby). I do have to use it every 4 weeks (you can see some grey on the pic already after 2 weeks), but I am willing to do so for the results. The color looks dark red in the artificial/little light, but becomes vibrant red with purple hues in the sun.

I have been self dying my hair for many years now! This brand and color (dark ruby) are my ultimate favorite by far!!! It's super easy to apply, and takes no time at all! Use a little vaseline around your skin and hairline to prevent it from dying your skin. Your ready to apply to the roots first than, all over!!! Be sure to not make a mess as this will stain!!! Always rinse it with COLD water, and don't wash it every day to reduce fading! It does fade over time, but each stage is a beautiful color, and so different!! I get SO many compliments on the color!!! This has been my go to color for a few years now!!! Every time I think of changing colors, I get complimented on how beautiful the color is especially in the sunlight, a beautiful radiant red!!! And you can't beat the price!!! Give this beautiful color a try, it's a fun one!!!

I love this color,,,,, as soon as my dye starts to fade away,,,, I am going to dye it this color again..... This,, basically looks great on me and is so dark,,,, so dark that it looks brown/ cherry plum,,,,, it is intense and I've had it on for almost a month and the color is still there,,, even after shampooing every other day..... This is my new favorite color and is here to stay....... I love it....... It's a one of a kind color that no other hair dye companies make.......

The color is amazing - I have a medium brown natural color, and this dye comes out vibrant red every time. It fades after about 6 weeks for me, as I tend to wash my hair as little as possible without letting my hair get gross, and only using cold water/color protecting shampoo. I have noticed that the conditioning treatment that comes with the box has changed over the past year though, and is no longer the thick and creamy formula, which worked wonders after color. It's a lot thinner now, and doesn't give the same silky soft result for me.

Love how this turned out! My daughter has really been wanting some color in her hair, but it’s incredibly hard to find dyes that show up on darker hair without lightening. The reviews here looked promising, and I’m so happy with the results! Her hair indoors almost looks like a deep magenta & outdoors the red really shines! She’s thrilled.

I used this on my hair over 2 months ago, and the color is still going strong. There has been very little fading or dulling, usually after two months, the other color kits that I've used have faded to that orange shade, this one has not. The color itself is very intense at first, it did take some getting used to. It's not a red like other brands, it's more of a bright rosy color, not a maroon and not a bright red either. I do like it though. It did bleed color on my towels for a few days, but that's normal for any hair color that I have used on the past. It washed out without any problems. And the value is great, too. This kit costs $12 in Walmart, I got it for half that here. I will continue to get the color here, I'm going to try the other color of red that is on the site just for grins and giggles. I'm an adventurous sort, so why not?

Love this color!! Very easy to use and doesn’t have a horrible smell!!! I use it just to put a few highlights in but it always comes out great! Definitely recommend!
