I have been living with crohn’s disease for well over 25 years. I’ve also had my gallbladder removed. I don’t have to explain to anyone who’s dealt with one or both of those issues how miserable it is just to simply eat a meal and then suffering the consequences of eating. For years my GI team prescribed colestipol off label for some relief, but there’s been days that didn’t work, or it worked too well and I would still be miserable. Banatrol has literally changed my life and my gut health! I make a smoothie with one scoop full of banatrol, about 6-8 ounces of orange juice, half of a banana and some strawberries and/or blueberries. I’m so grateful! —It’s expensive but so worth every dollar! I highly recommend it for those who have issues with Crohn’s disease, IBS-D or any stomach issues that make you afraid to eat, especially away from home - if you know you know. Please do yourself a favor and give it a try. I am so thankful for Banatrol!

I have IBS-D and this product combined with Spring Valley Digestive Enzymes with Prebiotics and Probiotics has helped tremendously I use a electric stir stick Zulay or something like that mixed in my little cups of Cinnemon apple sauce I love it honestly I look forward to daily one scoop in my apple sausce cup use my battery operated stir stick and its delicious. It literally takes 10 seconds to prepare this way

We were introduced to Banatrol when an elderly relative was hospitalized and acquired a gastric feeding tube. Recently he needed a 10-day course of antibiotics, and the expected changes to his bowel habits threatened the integrity of his skin in that area. One thing we appreciate about Banatrol is that it's easy to customize your dosing. Unlike medications that can be used to mitigate diarrhea or loose stools, it doesn't slow everything down in the body. Banatrol is a flaky product made of bananas, so for tube feeding we found it helpful to weigh our dose and sprinkle it onto the water we were mixing it with to minimize lumps. With a bit of experimentation you will be able to reconstitute it to a consistency that will flow safely through your feeding tube. Although the packaging and many reviewers say Banatrol does not constipate, exercise caution. Our loved one has other health issues that make constipation more likely. Has slowed diarrhea down but not gone

Product works well,good flavor, easy application

Took this after a search of "gut biome diarrhea" in Amazon's search bar. I was given Metf*rmin for my blood sugar, but it caused severe stomach cramps & runs after 4 days, I stopped taking it. Doc informed me I'd have at least 5 more weeks of the runs.. I was NOT warned about Metf*rmin side effects before taking it or that MOST people who do take it experience the trots. When my Mom had the runs bad her doc gave her a medicine used to stop it typically given to kids in 3rd world countries, but my doc refused to give me anything.. just said to try some extra fiber (which did nothing) + I tried other probiotics/prebiotics/enzymes & they also didn't help. BANATROL worked in 3 with a VERY noticeable slow down & after 5 days it Finally made it stop everyday (I was dealing w the issue for over a month after stopping Metf*rmin) Instead of Metf*rmin try Berberine & Cinnamon & cloves (I purchased all of these on Amazon). My then doc (I replaced him cuz he also engaged in medical gaslighting) DID know about Cinnamon lowering blood pressure, but says he doesn't know what Berberine is.. How I take Banatrol: I just put the scoop of powder in my mouth then drink it down with water. That way instead of drinking slowly it goes in all at once ESPECIALLY since I'm a sipper & can nurse the same drink for several hours. I DID initially try it in a fruit smoothie cuz I also used Premiere's banana protein (also purchased on Amazon) drink instead of water.. it tasted good, but again it takes me a LONG time to drink something. (Just don't breathe in if you put the powder in your mouth) I also only did 1 scoop a day instead of the recommended 2, because I originally read the label w/o my glasses on, but it still didn't take a full 7 days. Overall taste is GOOD especially if you like banana.

I don't know if it works yet. I hope it does because it's some naaaaaaaaasty tasting crap! I tried it in yogert and coffee. One scoop in coffee might not be too bad but it was awful in the yogert.

I am on my second jar.i mix with apple sauce.it works very well.gi problem not totally gone ,but very much under controll.it is costly ,but the cost is off set by not needing expensive anti disrhea pills.
