Works excellent! Professional and quiet.
Airplate T3 with Adjustable Thermostat. Looks and works great! Adjustable thermostat on single fan works the same as larger T8 and T10 units. Great cooling and fans are quiet. Comes with stencil which is excellent for marking cut out holes. Small screws or long bolts with nuts included for either mounting option. A/C Infinity fans are a little more expensive but I have to say they don't disappoint. I have never been disappointed after I recieve and use their products. Great quality and professional looking. I also have two T8 units, one on Denon reciver and one on Emotiva XPA-5 amp. They have worked flawlessly for sometime now. I just installed two T3 Airplates with thermostats on custom Amp enclosures for Fosi ZA3 amps. I watched all of them closely at first to see what they were doing in smart and auto settings. They work so good sometimes I dont even know thier running. I confidently stop looking after a couple of days of watching them in action. Set it and forget it. Piece of mind with the thermostats and longevity of your expensive equipment is worth the price in the end. Add three inches to mounting depth for the three cables that plug into the back of thermostat. Fan, power, and sensor. Spend a little more you'll be happy you did!

Xbox in a cabinet cooler!
I keep my Xbox series x in an entertainment cabinet beside the TV. Never really had any heat issues until I started playing Crimson Desert (amazing addictive). I noticed the heat was building in the cabinet because of the longer play sessions so I order this product. Simple install instructions and a wonderful product. It is very quiet and it only runs when the threshold I set for the temp registers. I can set an alarm if it gets too high which could save me money. I had an issue with a cracked screen and the customer service from AC Infinity handled it perfectly and it was very easy to make a warranty claim. Great product, great support, easy connectivity, the fan speed and sound level are excellent and I now have better air flow. What more could I ask for especially at this price point?

Legitimate quality and design
Sometimes I wonder if so many gushing reviews are the result of some strange campaign to inflate sales, but based on what I received, they're real reviews. I'm a real person, and there was nothing in the package soliciting reviews, or anything of that nature. This product is kind of like the Apple Computer version of environmental controls. Like opening a new MacBook, opening this package is a delight. Everything is well protected, placement is well thought out, and attention to preventing shipping damage was given. This isn't just a bunch of components tossed into a box. Installation was messy, but my cabinet is particle board so I expected it. But where this shines is the included templates. We've all installed things from included templates – you know, those paper things we need to cut out and tape, and hope that we've smoothed them enough to accurate transfer to the wall or cabinet or whatever. Nope! Not here. Instead, we get awesome die-cut templates made of thick plastic that are easy to tape to the cabinet for transferring. All templates for all template-having products should have templates like these. And speaking of messy installation, the flanges on the fans and control are large enough to hide any non-perfect cuts performed as a result of cutting the openings in place in your living room instead of being able to take your huge cabinet to your workshop for perfect cuts. I've got two fans installed, one to suck in and the other to blow out. With no noise in the room, I can barely hear them operating from our viewing position. When watching literally anything on the TV, I can't detect them at all. The control works nearly perfectly for my needs, although I've not setup the alarm functionality. The control is my one, minor quibble though: there's no way to control the amount hysteresis. I have cooling setup for 30°C, and sure enough, the fans come on at 30°. As soon as the probe indicates 28°, though, the fans switch off. It doesn't take long for the temperature to increase back to 30°, though, so the fans kick on, then turn off, then come back on, which is annoying, power hungry, and potentially increase wear. Because the fans are so quiet you're not likely to know it's happening; it just bothers me knowing that it's happening, but not enough to deduct any stars.

Fantastic value for the money
Fantastic value for the money. The thermostat controller looks very sharp and has a very nice metal finish, as does the frame for the fan. The included templates made mounting a snap. Originally, I just placed the fan on top of my receiver but I wasn't getting enough temperature reduction. Instead, I reversed the flow of the fan (just unscrew it from the mounting frame and flip it over-2 minutes tops) and then mounted the fan into the bottom of the shelf where my receiver sits. This blows cool air from underneath the shelf straight into the bottom of the receiver. This way, there is a constant flow of cool air travelling through the receiver and then out of the top of the receiver. Worked like a charm. Cranking my receiver at full volume for an hour, the temperature never went above 87 degrees. The thermal shutoff on the receiver is around 105, so no problem at all. By default, the backlight goes off after about 5 seconds. To keep it on all of the time, just put it in "off" mode and then hold the up button for 5 seconds. Do the same and hold the down button to set the backlight to turn off automatically. The fan is very quiet and the "smart" mode works very well, increasing the fan speed as necessary as temperatures climb. I have not noticed any fan noise whatsoever with normal listening volumes. One additional edit: I wanted the display to be visible all of the time, but it is incredibly bright! I simply removed the metal faceplate and placed a blue colored gel sheet on top of the LCD display. Popped the cover back on and re screwed it. The display has a nice dark blue tint to it now and does not stand out while watching a movie for example. (see photo) It would be great if the manufacturer could add a contrast or brightness setting to the display so that it could be turned down with the controls!

Profesional Products from a Company that really knows what they are selling.
Quality, details, performance above and beyond standards. Right for the beginning when I received the package and Open it? I noticed how much AC Infinity do care about their products and ensure it will arrive all in perfect condition (It remind me when unboxing any apple computer products). I am one of those that read the instructions first! before I touch the equipment. Man! the manual is so complete & educational. Fans are very well made, feel strong (not toys) and with an attractive look. Can't beat the CONTROLLER, very well thought as for features (way better than expected).I bought these fans to cool out a wooden case with an inverter generator. Weird?? :) actually It did work flawlessly. Now let's talk about NOISE. What noise?? :) these are very quiet. while I was playing with the controller features (Smart Mode "love it") I could not believe that fans were ON, I pull out my flashlight and YES! blades were running. Cables does have enough length. Summary: AC Infinity take their business very serious, their product ROCKS!, price are very reasonable. Last thing! you should BUY FANS with controller if you want to track the temperature and YES! it is true, they can be powered thru USB but I highly recommend to use with the AC adapter, it does give an additional power that I need in my case. Thank you!!.. Yes! will buy again for my additional hobby as a DJ :).

Mostly worked for me
I have a bunch of home theater equipment installed behind a closed cabinet, and the electronics tend to get too hot for my liking. After trying a few different fans, I decided it was time to bite the bullet and install something like the AC Infinity Airplate. The product is mostly high quality and features solid, metal grates and housings. It comes with cutout templates for both the fan and the controller, and once installed, it gives a smooth and clean, built-in look. I like that it can be powered with nothing more than a USB connection - I'm out of power sockets in my cabinet, but I happen to have several available USB ports. Of course, the biggest part of the installation is cutting out the hole to fit the fan. In my case, my cabinetry is two layers - thin (1/8") sheets of plywood with about an inch of airspace between them. I chose to make a thick (1/2") wooden template using the thin plastic one AC Infinity supplied as a reference - this let me position it accurately and to use a small router to make the required cuts. Thin material often shreds when cut - the router and a quality bit left nice smooth edges. The way my cabinet worked out, there was a bigger space between the top and bottom than the height of the fan, so it looked awkward from the inside of the cabinet. I purchased a second faceplate from AC Infinity to use on the underside, and this gave a much cleaner appearance. It would be a better design if the fan housing was adjustable - it's about 1", and if your cabinet is somehow thicker, you'll have the same problem I did. As an extra precaution, I installed a thin layer of air filtering foam between the bottom of the fan and the new faceplate I used. Before installing it, I plugged everything in and noticed that the fan was quite a bit noisier than I expected - it sounded like a chattering chipmunk, even at the lowest speed. I contacted AC Infinity and they were kind enough to ship me a replacement fan on the theory that the original may have simply had a bad bearing. At the same time, I happened to have a leftover Noctua fan that I was expecting to use in a computer case I recently built. The Noctua's seem much higher quality than what AC Infinity ships, so I decided to use it instead of the vendor's supplied fan. I've had good experiences with Noctua - they're nearly silent at low speed and they seem to last forever. The fit was perfect, and the result was much quieter with marginally better airflow. Note that if you try this, you need to use Noctua's 5V fans, not the normal 12V computer fans (unless you want to cook up a different power supply instead of USB). The controller is easier to install - in my case, it fit cleanly into the cabinet wall (it's also a thin sheet of 1/8" ply with an inch or so air space behind it. The temperature probe was easy to run, and I was happy to see that I could power the entire thing from an unused USB port. About my only complaint with the controller is that the display is a bit dim and difficult to see from a distance. My solution was to install a SensorPush HT1 temperature sensor - it pushes temperature data to an iPhone app and isn't so difficult to see. With the fan installed, I'm seeing a temperature drop of about 20 degrees. A temperature probe on my AVR with no fans running shows 115 degrees. With an AC Infinity Aircom T8 atop the AVR and this Airplate T3 exhausting the hot air, I'm down to about 93 degrees, which I consider about ideal for my needs. With the Noctua fan installed and set to the slowest speed, I can't hear the fan operating from my listening position, so it's entirely silent. Overall, I'm happy with the AC Infinity products and the results I've achieved. I have no trouble recommending them, so long as you understand that it takes a bit of expertise to cut the required holes and install everything.

Highly recommend.
First of all--SUPER impressed with the packaging and manuals. This is a near Apple-like experience, with a perfectly fit box that's fitted with foam padding and perfectly molded compartments for the fan and controller, and all cables and accessory underneath. I know it's a small thing, but for a fan that you NEED to be near silent, they thought through packaging very well--providing immediate confidence that nothing vibrated too badly during shipping. Next-the instructions are crystal clear, and the templates for making the cutouts into the cabinet are made of clear plastic, not thin paper. This is a huge plus, as the see through plastic allow you to align easily and visualize the hole that you are making. In my case, I installed the AC Infinity T3 fan into my home's AV cabinet that is built into our living room wall, so this is now a permanent fixture in our home. The clean, black finish blends nicely with our dark cherry cabinetry. Setup is a breeze too, thanks to clearly written instructions. The control module has manual, auto, and smart-auto settings that turn the fan on/off and control the speed of the fan. I'm using the smart setting which is designed to smoothly transition between off/on by varying fan speed. So far, so good. My cabinet is definitely cooler with this fan running, but I'm about ready to order a second fan because the shelves in my cabinet prevent good airflow without a second fan blowing air in and around. I suspected this might be the case but figured I would try one fan first. Highly recommend this cooling system. It is quiet and well built, packaged for safe shipping, and you will have no difficulty getting it up and running. (Note: if you are not at all handy with a saw and a drill, you should seek a friend who is. I used a drill and a jigsaw and had the square hole out in less than 15 minutes and it looks absolutely custom. But I'm carful and experienced with this kind of home project.)

Works great!
Impressive quality. Works as, or better than expected. I installed this in a kitchen cabinet for a water purifier and ice maker that were getting hot and not working correctly. It's fairly easy to install with a multi-tool and seems to have done the job. Keeps it about 10-15 degrees cooler with the automatic thermostat switch.

A Great Product
AC Infinity makes some very nice products - I have a 4” fan to cool my home theatre and it has worked well the last few years. We have upgraded our HT system and are now running a Denon receiver that gets quite warm. Unfortunately my wife wanted all the Home theatre stuff hidden in a cabinet so we needed to upgrade the fan. This particular product allows us to keep our existing fan and add a 6” fan with temperature sensor and control unit. With fans noise can be an issue, particularly with higher fan speeds. This unit is whisper quiet, only turns on when needed and adjusts fan speed to the require level for the temperature of the cabinet. Fans can also be ugly but the AC Infinity stuff is absolutely gorgeous - not sure if that is the right term but both the controller and the fan are very well built so that even my wife mentioned how nice the unit looks. In terms of cost, I can say you definitely get your moneys worth.

Buena calidad

Quality item once adapter arrived - thank you
Update: the seller sent a UK/US plug adapter super quickly over bank holiday weekend which arrived Monday. I was worried that it would need a power converter but this was not the case. Plugged it in and immediately started working. Very impressed with the product and the seller. Many thanks. This looks and feels like a great quality product but I can’t power it because there was no Uk power adapter supplied. I do not want to simply use a US to UK adapter due to the power difference and am a concerned I will blow the unit so I am waiting to hear back from the supplier. I will update this review when I hear but until then I have a great looking fan installed that I can’t use!

Meravigliosa
