Soap, always within reach!
A great purchase! I used to take baths until I needed surgery on my leg, so I now sit on a chair in the shower. I love these soaps-on-a-rope and each usually lasts about 10-12 showers. I wrap the loop (at the end of the cord) around the faucet or the ceramic soap dish integrated into the wall. I do not recommend getting the cord wrapped around your neck as the wet cord can become very tight and restrict circulation. Occasionally, the wet cord wraps itself around my arm so it takes a little patience to detangle it.As the leg further healed, and my mobility increased over the next few months, I was able to bend down to reach regular soap on the tub floor. So I now keep a soap-on-a-rope available nearby (as a backup bar) in a dry area within reach, and use regular Dove soap that likely drops a few times per shower. If it drops in front of me, I can bend over to pick it up with little difficulty. However, if it drops underneath or behind my seat, I then use the soap-on-a-rope as a backup. Then I can retrieve the regular dropped bar after I get out of the shower.I also purchase multiple sets of these bars to save on shipping costs.

This soap is great. My husband has trouble bending over so now when he drops his soap it is easy for him to pick it up. And since he has sensitive skin, having the Dove on a rope has been a godsend.

My husband has a disability, which does not allow him to pick up his dropped bar of soap (almost daily!) from the floor of the shower. This soap is a godsend for him and me too. Thank you, so very much.

It's so hard to find soap with long enough strings but this one was long and worked great!

A Disappointment
Did not like this soap! The rope fell out of the soap almost immediately. Very disappointed!

and it is easy to grab that rope to get it back into ...
Very helpful for my disabled friend. Now when he drops the soap in the shower, it doesn't go all the way to the floor, and it is easy to grab that rope to get it back into his hand.
